It was finally Billie's birthday and Y/N couldn't be anymore excited for her. She's been waiting for what feels like forever to turn 17, she often gets upset that her birthday is at the end of the year because everyone's birthday is before her's. What makes it even worse is Y/N's birthday is in March meaning she would be turning 18 soon.
Billie got out of bed and walked downstairs to find her family waiting for her with breakfast on the table. Billie walked over to her chair to find gifts all around the table and a breakfast burrito waiting for her.
"Awww you guys" Billie whined before giving everyone a hug and eating her breakfast
"So what's your plan for the day?" Maggie asked taking a sip of her coffee
"Well after i eat this lovely breakfast i'm gonna go to Y/N's and hang out there for a little. I've decided to rent out an ice skating rink and spend the day with my friends. Then Y/N's mom wanted to cook me dinner so we'll probably go over there and celebrate with her family. And i'll probably end up spending the night at Y/N's" Billie said while taking breaks to eat her burrito
For the rest of the breakfast Billie talked with her family as they reflected on all the funny moments from her childhood. Once Billie finished eating she put away her dishes before leaving to get ready.

"Thanks, i'll see you guys at the ice skating rink for 2 o'clock" Billie said as Maggie nodded in agreement and drove off
Y/N buzz Billie into the apartment complex and waited for her to show up. Y/N was beyond excited because she hasn't been able to see Billie since she got back from tour.
Billie knocked on the door as Y/N ran over and opened it before jumping on top of her girlfriend.
"Hi mamas" Billie whispered into Y/N's ear as she put her down on the floor
"Happy Birthday, i've missed you so much" Y/N said covering her face as she cried
"Oh baby don't cry" Billie said wiping away Y/N's tears
Once Y/N stopped crying she invited Billie in as she sat her bag down in Y/N's room before joining her on the couch
"Where's Jason and Kelly?" Billie asked looking around to find any signs of Y/N's roommates
"They went home for break so it's been just me, but now i have you here" Y/N said cuddling into Billie's chest as they sat in silence
"So how does it feel to finally be 17?" Y/N asked
"Amazing now i'm only one year away from being legal" Billie said making Y/N chuckle because she's turning 18 before Billie
