"Okay everyone grab a box and head to the room with your name on it" Y/N's mom said to her and her older siblings as they pulled up to their new house
When Y/N's mom got called for a new job position she knew she was gonna take it without a second thought. Even if that meant moving her and her family across the country. Even though her kids can't see it now what she's doing is for their best interest.
All of Y/N's siblings got out the car and started grabbing boxes from the moving the truck. Y/N jumped out the seat in the back looking at the house
"Your not mad at me are you?" Y/N's mom asked making her look up at her
"No, I mean I wish it was closer to the family but we can't have everything we want" Y/N said shrugging her shoulders
"And this is why your my favorite" Y/M/N said making Y/N chuckled
"Everything we have is pretty heavy so just watch Marley while we bring everything in" Y/M/N said grabbing their new puppy out from the back seat
Y/N played with their new dog in their backyard while everyone else carried boxes in the house. One perk of being the youngest out of 5 is you get away with almost everything.
"Go get the ball" Y/N said as she threw the ball across the yard as the puppy just stared at her
"Really" Y/N said as she looked at the dog
Once she saw he wasn't gonna get the ball she started walking over to grab it. Y/N picked the ball and turned around to see he wasn't their. Y/N ran to the front side of the house to see someone had left the gate wide open giving Marley the perfect escape route.
"Marley" Y/N yelled running out the gate to see him across the street bothering a girl with long blonde hair
At the sound of someone shouting out a name Billie looked up to see a girl around her age staring at her and the mystery dog. Billie picked the dog up and walked across the street to meet the girl.
"Thank you so much! I would've gotten in so much trouble if he got lost. I'm sorry if he bothered you" Y/N said grabbing the dog out of Billies hands and giving it a kiss

"No problem...i'm Billie by the way I live across the street" Billie said pointing towards her house
"Y/N nice to meet you, i see you have a dog too" Y/N said pointing towards her house as Billie's turned to see Pepper waiting for her
"Yeah, that's Pepper" Billie said as Y/N let out a chuckle
"That's such a cute name" Y/N said
"What's his name?" Billie asked pointing to the dog
"This is Marley" Y/N said looking at the dog in her arms
"Like from the movie?" Billie questioned
"One of my moms favorite" Y/N said putting the dog in the gate making sure to lock it so he couldn't get out
"Well i should probably get back home but it was nice meeting you Y/N" Billie said breaking the silence
"You too Billie I hope we can be friends" Y/N said giving her a small smile
"Well I saved your dog and your life so i think you owe me one" Billie said making Y/N chuckle and wave by as she watched the girl go into her house
