I look skyward
At the edge of all things
With only the weight of Atlas to hold me up
Torn pages and broken things
Tragic losses and horrible memories
All the things that seek to hold me down
Clasp me tightly and make me drown
But what these demons do not knowI am the ocean that the seas drown in
I am the wind that suffocates the sky
I am still standing
I am still aliveThe storm that swirls above me
Knows not my strength
For I command all the seas that surround me
The islands are mine
From the depths of the tides
To the ashes of the sand
I am the commandeer
Of my pastI am the ocean that the seas drown in
I am the wind that suffocates the sky
I am still standing
I am still aliveAnd woe is those who seek to destroy me
And woe is those who seek to destroy me
I am a hawk, ever circling
Wrap me in chains and drag me away
My heart will not stop beating, my faith will not sway
I have held fire in the palm of my hand
Furnaces have bowed down to kiss my feet
I have stared down tsunamis
Your words do not scare me
Your power does not scare meI am the ocean that the seas drown in
I am the wind that suffocates the sky
I am still standing
I am still alive
I am still standing
I am still alive
You cannot break me
You can only try
You cannot kill me
For my spirit will never die
I am still standing
I am still aliveA bit cheesy but it's so good to be back
