"hey" athena mumbled as the call with christina connected.

"are you okay, thena?" christina asked, her voice full of worry.

"i'm alright."

"something you wanna tell me, young lady?" the short-haired girl laughed at her best friend's comment.

"that's what i wanted to talk about." athena inhaled deeply before hearing christina speak again.

"then go ahead."

"daniel and i hooked up a couple of times. i don't know what we are and it's making me stressed. we've been going out and acting like a couple but we are not official. jack told me he still loved me and have so much mixed feelings. i don't know anything anymore. sometimes i feel like i love daniel and then i'm craving jack." her eyes started to fill with tears before she broke down once again, starting to cry a river.

"hey, don't cry! if jack can't make his mind up that's his problem. he's losing on someone amazing. just do what your heart tells you to do. i'll always support you no matter what. try and talk to daniel. maybe he'll understand what you're going through and he'll help you."

athena cleaned her tears away. "i guess"

"i love you so much, you know you can always count on me. and screw jack! he's obviously blind because he never saw what he let go."

"i don't know what i'd do without you." and with that comment, both girls giggled.
