Memories

Ae opened the door,
followed by Pete who is now hesitating to talk to Ae.. He remembers before that no matter how upset or angry Ae is.. He always is the one who settles the issue but now.. He isn't even saying a word to him..

Pete closed the door as he saw Ae going to the room..

Pete sat on the sofa and covered his face with his palm.. Now he wants to cry.. He finally felt fear and terror eating him remembering how he almost got kidnapped earlier and God knows what could have happened to him..

Ae thought Pete would follow him inside..
He was sitting on the bed and looked at the bedside table..

There was a picture of him and Pete and they both looked happy. Ae sighed.. This picture was taken in the past.. Pete owns this.. It was taken years ago.. He was really suprised then that he still kept it after all this years..

He remembered his mother burning everything from Pete even if he was against it.. His brother Oh was holding him tight then as he was trying to stop his mom, but she succeeded, she said sternly that time that he should forget about Pete as he left him when he needed him the most and burning those memorabilia are a way of forgetting..

But Mom was wrong, Ae thought..
Memories is your worst enemy when it comes to heartbreaks.

Even after all those yearsv
Pete's smile and laughter kept haunting him..

Ae sighed.. He can't really be like this right now..
They just got back together and He needs to speak with Pete to clarify what he saw..

He was about to stand up when his phone rang..

"Hello," Ae said.. it was an unknown number but it may be a supplier so he needs to answer.

Ae's eyes widened in disbelief..
It was a police station officer,
They were trying to contact Pete but he's unreachable and his number was listed as an emergency contact..

Ae couldn't say a word.. "Damn.." he muttered.
He let his jealousy take over without even asking Pete..

"Oh Ae man.. you're a mess.. even before... you could never control your emotions.." he said to himself.

He walked outside and saw Pete on the sofa..
His shoulders were rocking and he knows he made a mistake..

He approached Pete and hugged him..

"Ae... I w... as so sc.. ared.." Pete whispered.

"I know Pete and I'm here now.. I'm so sorry.." Ae's body trembled and tears started to fall.

They just kept quiet for a few minutes and waited for each other to calm down. Ae made sure to not let go of Pete as they locked each other in a gentle embrace.

Pete moved his head which is lying now on Ae's shoulder.

He looked up, voice hoarse from crying and asked, "Ae, arent you hungry?"

Ae looked at Pete and realized that they haven't had dinner yet.

As soon as he arrived home earlier he immediately looked for Pete so he had forgotten to prepare anything for dinner.

"Would you like me to cook anything for you?" Ae then kissed his cheecks..

Pete blushed and shyly said.. "I actually cooked something for you Ae.. I'm not sure if it tastes good.. but I did my best.."

Ae smiled and eyes glistened.
This is the first time Pete cooked for him and he suddenly got excited..

Ae immediately grabbed Pete and asked him to eat and they went to the dining table..
Pete laughed.."Hold on soldier,"

He said smiling.. "Let me reheat first then we'll eat so just sit your handsome butt down.. and I'll be just quick as I can.."

Ae sat down while watching Pete move around the kitchen..

He really moves like a swan, graceful and classy..

Ae's imagination worked at his best again as he was seeing Pete now.. wearing nothing but an apron..

"Oh damn..." He muttered feeling his groin ache..

Pete looked at him.. "Did you say something Ae?"

Ae shook his head and smiled..
Pete turned back to what he is doing.

Pete prepared everything at the table after and they ate.. Ae praised Pete as everything tasted great..

Pete embarrassed all throughout as the other never stopped praising him and even challenged him on what to prepare next which he gladly accepted.

After eating, they both sat on the sofa watching TV and they talked about what happened earlier.

Ae remembered before that Pete asked Tins help in getting information about Trump and he decided to call the other later to ask if he can help him.
Knowing the ever powerful Ice Prince.. he has a lot of connections and he can get details in just a snap of a finger.

Pete also talked about Tuk.. and Ae was not convinced as he was conveniently around the area when the incident happened.. but he did not voice out his concerns but instead he embraced Pete all throughout to let him know he is not alone and he is safe in his arms..

Ae then informed Pete of his plans to go on a vacation.. "Remember when Can was in the hospital? Tin and I talked of going on a vacation.. Just the four of us.. but lets not tell Can that Tin is coming.. Let just inform him that he will tag along with us.."

Pete smiled, "Is Tin planning something?!"

"You know how Can is right?!. amidst his violent and agressive nature somtimes, he is really an idiot who is insensitive but when it comes to Tin.. He has so many heartaches.." Ae said..

"So Tin left the country and actually bought the company where Can is working.. Little does he know that they extended the one month vacation they gave him because of Tin.. and Can thought they'll never see each other again.." Ae laughed.

Pete kissed Ae at the cheek.."Those two really struggled a lot.. Thank you Ae..."

"Hmm what for babe.." Ae said.. kissing his face gently.. then his hands slowly moving on his waist..

"For loving me unconditionally.." Pete said meeting his lips..

They kissed and continued to express their feelings. The television volume increased covering the sounds of love and desire of the two in the sofa.
