Chances on Love

Time

"Give me time Oh.."
"I understand why Mom did all of that but I need time." "Just please take good care of her.."
"Once I'm ready then I'll definitely speak to her.."
Ae said while speaking with his brother over the phone..

Oh, on the other line just sighed..
"She has been trying to reach you Ae.."
"Couldn't you even send her even a single reply?"

Pete just came out of the room and he heard Ae speaking to his brother..
Pete felt sadness with what's happening..
He knows Ae said many times it was not his fault however, Ae not speaking to his mother brings heartaches that he can never hide...

Not once he and Ae sat down to talk  about what had happened, many times he told Ae he was okay and he should forgives his mother for her wrong doings and Ae up to now is still undecided..

He approached Ae and hugged him from behind.. He wrapped his arms around his waist..

Ae who was suprised by Pete's sudden embrace, smiled a little and continued speaking with Oh..

"I know Oh.. just give me sometime.. okay okay... yeah.. bye.." Ae ended the call and put the phone on his pocket then held Pete's hand which were wrapped
his waist..

"Good Morning.. How was your sleep?" Ae said.

"hmmmm.. Good Ae.. You?" Pete said dreamy then yawned at Ae's back..

"Still sleepy?", Ae said smiling...

"Nope, just waking myself up", Pete smiled a little..

Then they both got silent...

"Ae.." Pete said wanting to open up a conversation about his mom..

Ae sensing what his lover was about to bring upfront stopped the other.. "Pete.. I don't want to talk about it.."

"But Ae.. we can't avoid this topic forever.. It's been months now.. why can't you still speak with your mom?" Pete said persistently.

"Pete.. I just need time.." Ae said.

"Ae.." Pete trying to make Ae listen to him.

"I'm not sure why you can forgive her easily after all she has done to you Pete.." Ae removing the hands of his lovers wrapped on his waist.

But Pete is not moving.. He hugged Ae tightly..

"Let go Pete." Ae asking him to remove his hands..

"I know it's not easy Ae.. but, but.. you need to forgive her.. I know you feel like she ruined our relationship but if you think about it, she is also the reason why were stronger than before.." Pete said trying to convince his lover.

Ae understands what Pete was trying to say.. But he is not ready yet.. he knows he will be.. but not just yet..

"Ae.." called Pete as the other was not giving out any response..

"Just give me time Pete.." Ae said coldly..

Pete then slowly removed his hands. Maybe he is pushing Ae too much...

"I'm sorry.." Pete said and bowed his head..

He saw the other turn around in front of him..

"Look at me Pete.." Ae commanded..

Pete didn't look.. "Pete", Ae repeated.. "Look at me.."

Pete slowly looked up.. and he saw Ae's barbed face..

"Ae.."  he touched his face and Ae held his palm in his cheek and then trapped it with his other palm then a tear fell from his eyes..

Pete knows his lover is hurting.. more than anything else, Betrayal and Disappointmet are the worst emotions Ae has right now..

Pete pulled Ae and wrapped him in his arms..
"I'm sorry for pushing you too much Ae.. If you're not ready yet that's okay.. I can wait.. then we'll face her together okay.." Pete said

Ae just nodded and softly wept on his lovers shoulder..

Pete continued to pat Ae's back comforting him..

Then after a few minutes Ae cleared his throat..
"Sorry for being so difficult Pete.. " Ae smiled

Pete held Ae's face.."No Ae.. sorry for being too pushy.." then kissed Ae lightly..

"Time heals all wounds as the saying goes.. then I'll accompany you Ae.. until you decide when it's time to open up again.." Pete smiled at his thoughts.

Oh turned around and shocked to see their Mother behind him.. "Mom", Oh said..

His mother smiled forcefully trying to hide her emotions... "That's okay Oh... You tried and I very much appreciate that.." she heard his sons conversation and she knows Ae still cannot forgive her..

Oh smiled sadly and approached their mother who was about to cry... "Just give Ae some time Mom.. You know him, once he is ready.. then he'll definitely take the initiative.."

His mother wiped her tears and looked at Oh..
"I'm sorry son.. you're right.. Mother's knows best.. but not all the time.. Thank you for forgiving me.."

"Oh Mom.." Oh hugged his mom tightly.. "I'm really sorry about Dad.."

"That's okay Oh.. your Dad, just fell in love.. Now, I am slowly realizing what true love really is about and It took me years to know why he has done that.. I see your Dad in Ae.. and it was a mistake of me doing that.. He and Ae, they may look similar in appearance and maybe in the way they love, but they definitely are not the same man.. and I regret.. so much that I did those things to Ae and Pete.. It was a lie.. I was not doing it for Ae, I was doing it for me.. I thought I could redeem myself from what your father has done, if I was successful in separating the two.. but it all backfired and now, I'm regretting everything.. "

Oh just listened as right now  he knows, no words can ever comfort their Mom.. but he can assure her that everything will be okay.. she just needs to give Ae a little more time..

The old woman who has calmed down suddenly remembered something.. She excused herself and went immediately upstairs..

She remembered the guy she spoked to on the phone before.. he doesn't know who this person is.. He was the one who offered to work for her and she sent this person Pete's information..

"Oh my God" she said after realizing what she's done..

She tried calling him, but all she gets is..
"The number you have dialled is not reachable.."
