Chances on Love

Pete observed his lover tensed whole day..
He has been forgetting, dropping and breaking things.

Pete couldn't help but ask him but the other just shrugged his shoulder saying he was okay and he was just stressing out because of work which was out of his character.

Ae was never ever stressed because of work.

"Oh men!!.."
Pete said in annoyance.
They were supposed to go out this afternoon but Ae moved it again..

He is not actually sure why they needed to go out to watch a movie when they can just watch at home.

Ever since the day he went to No's club, he has been acting weird..

Pete gave out a huge sigh..
He looked at his watch,
Ae said he will just get something from the car.
Thirty minutes has passed now and he hasn't come back yet.

They can just go downstairs as they were supposed to leave together but Ae asked him to wait instead, which is really weird right?!

His radar is saying something is going on so he decided to follow him down at the parking area..

"Fuck No!.. what are you doing here?!",
Ae asked as soon as No came down from his car, he received an SMS from No saying he is at the parking lot.

"Well, since Can couldn't come today, I was the one instructed to give you these.." No said giving a small paper bag with a logo of a known jeweller in town..

Tin asked for Pete's help in checking the best ring for Can and when Tin sent him the catalogue, a ring caught Pete's eye then Tin arranged everything so Ae could buy it and Can was supposed to bring it but Tin wouldn't allow him to leave.

He learned about Can yesterday,
it seems like he came down with a fever and he can't attend..

He was really sorry as he couldn't help with the planned proposal but that is just okay with Ae..

He did have a little chat with Tin as he congratulated him and found out it was Tin's fault why Can got sick..

Ae grinned thinking how sexually active those two were..

"What are you grinning about?"
No asked frowning.
"Don't tell me you're thinking about your honeymoon already Ae! Pete didn't even said yes to your proposal!" No said out loud then laughed.

"Ae",
Pete said confused looking at the two..

Ae and No turned their head towards the newly arrived Pete..

"Pete.."
Ae called his name stuttering..
"What are you doing here?!"

Pete ignored his question.
"What did No said?"
"Proposal?"
"Honeymoon?"
Pete's chest was beating so hard..

"Fuck you No!"
"Thank you!" Ae said scratching his head..

Pete looked at the paper bag Ae has in his hand..

"Ae are you gonna propose to me?"
Pete's chest is overwhelming with expectation..

"Darn it.. too much for a surprise.." Ae said sighing..

Then No pushed Ae at the back..
"Just go for it Ae. Pete already knows.."
"Sorry.. but Can should really be blamed.."
No was apologetic but excited at the same time then he took out his phone and put everything on live cam on his SNS.

The others who were on the venue of the proposal were all suprised and they watched in anticipation.

Pete was just standing there in front of Ae stunned..

A car passed by to go outside of the parking lot slightly honking that caught Pete in a suprise so he had to walk closer to Ae..

"Ae",
Pete called, his eyes showing different strings of emotions..

Ae scratched his head..
"This should have been a surprise.."
"I was planning this with the whole team.."

Pete smiled tenderly awaiting for his lover to speak.

Ae cleared his throat..
"Ehermmmm.."
"Pete," He called..
Then approached Pete and kneeled in front of him..

He took out the ring from the paper bag and opened the little box in front of Pete.

Pete's eye widened in surprise.. "That ring...."

Ae smiled..

"You were my first kiss,"
"My first love and first heartbreak.."
"You were my many first's Pete and I promised myself.. you will be my last.."

"I always wanted to be strong enough to handle everything in life.."
"but then I met you.. I realized that I was actually trying to become stronger so I can be more gentler with you.."

"You're the most fragile yet unbreakable person I have ever met and I wanted to be there with you no matter what.."

"I prepared a speech love.. but... but.. I forgot the rest of my lines.." Ae side blushing and embarrassed.

Pete gently laughed..

"There is nothing more that I could ask for.. than to be with you for the rest of my life.."
"Will you marry me.. Pete?"

"Ae..",
Pete's eyes were glistening with tears..

Here they are,
in the parking lot of the condominium,
and who would have thought this place can never be romantic right.. but for Pete and Ae, the place and the people that sorrounds them don't matter at all..

Pete wiped his tears and handed his hand to Ae..
"Yes Ae.. I will always say yes to you.."

Ae lovingly took Pete's hand and wore the ring then kissed it gently after.

He then took a stand,
embraced and kissed Pete full on the mouth..

"Wwoooooooooo",
shouted by No..
they almost forgot there was another person there..

Then Ae's and Pete's phone notification sounded.
Ae took his phone and saw No doing a live broadcast and many people were congratulating them.

Ae laughed.. "That was fast my friend!"

Then No approached and congratulated them both..

"Hmmmm.. okay.... so... you're engaged.."
"What about the surprise not so surprise party Ae?"
No asked wondering..

Then Pete rebutted..,
"Ae.. Let's get married today!"

Ae's eyes widened..
"Pete.. what are you saying?"
"Shouldn't we prepare everything first?"

Pete pouted,
"I don't want to wait Ae.."
"Besides you've prepared everything.."
"I don't want your efforts to go to waste"
"All we just need is someone to officiate.."
"and, I know someone who can.."

Ae looked at Pete lovingly..
"Then, let's get married now.."
