Final Exams

The day Mei got released from the hospital, Momo called to check in on her.

"Hey Mo, what's up?"

"Hey Mei! Just wanted to see how you're feeling."  said her fried, over the phone.

"A little funny, to be honest."

"Are you okay? You're pretty heavily medicated."

"Yeah I think so." said Mei "Except I was just taking a bath and the bubbles in my tub started singing to me in german..."

"Please try to stay in bed and don't do anything stupid."

"Yes, ma'am."

"I'll see you at school tomorrow?"

"We'll see, I might need another wellness day." shrugged Mei, jumping into her bed. "You could skip with me, saying I need a friend for moral support."

"You know, you're a terrible influence."

"You need me."

"Right." Momo chuckled. "I'll see you AT SCHOOL tomorrow, Shinomori."

With that, Yaoyorozu hung up the phone.

"Okay, that's it for class." said Aizawa. "There's only one week left until final exams. You are all studying properly, right? I'm sure you already know, but it won't just be a written exam. There's also a practical component. Make sure you train your minds and bodies at the same time. That's all."

Mei hadn't studied at all. She had a short attention span and a lack of interest for the subjects, so she definitely wasn't the type to be doing lots of preparing. She wasn't doing horribly, though, since she scored 6th out of 21 in the midterm.

Momo, on the other hand, was at the top of the class academically. She had scored first on the midterm, and she kept bugging Mei about trying harder with her studies.

Mina and Kaminari, who were both the lowest scores in class, were complaining about how terrified they were for the finals.

"This is gonna be so bad! With the festival and the internships, I haven't had any time to study!" said Kaminari.

"Ashido, Kaminari!" said Midoriya, who has socred 4th on the midterm. "Let's do our best! We all want to go to the training camp together, right?"

"Yes! As class rep, I also have high hoped that you'll all be moved to action!" said Iida, who scored 2nd.

"Its pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention to class." said Todoroki, arrogantly. He was number 5.

"You two, I may be able to be of assistance with the class lectures." said Momo.

"I'm not one of those two, but can I join, too?" asked Jirou. "I'm having some trouble with quadratic functions."

"Sorry, me too! How are you with classical Japanese?" asked Sero.

"I'd like to join too." said Ojiro. "There's a bunch of stuff I don't get."

Momo's eyes sparkled in a way Mei had never seen before.

"Yes, of course!" she shouted in excitement. "Let us hold a study session at my residence this weekend!"

"Yes!" said Mina. "I can't wait to see your house!"

"Oh, in that case, I must tell Mother and have her open the hall!" said Momo. "What kind of tea are you all partial to? In my family we always drink Harrod's or Wedgewood, but if you have any preference let me know!"
