"We Stand As One United" is the official alma mater of Ilvermorny School Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is currently unknown who wrote Ilvermorny's school song but it was believed that the song was written sometime between the 17th and 20th centuries. The school song describes how Isolt Sayre fled to North America because she was persecuted by Muggles, though she actually escaped from her magical aunt. This may be an example of a revisionist history created by a community that was under threat from "common wandless men." or it may mean that Isolt lied about her past because she didn't want it publicly known. The school song also describes the founding of Ilvermorny, which the Hogwarts song does not.
Lyrics:
Caw-caw, Caw-caw! (Thunderbird)
Purr-purr! (Wampus)
Hiss-hiss! (Horned Serpent)
Puk-puk! (Pukwudgie)
We stand as one united,
Against the Puritan.
We draw our inspiration
From good witch Morrigan. For she was persecuted
By common wandless men.
So she fled from distant Ireland,
And so our school began.Oh! Ilvermorny-Massachusetts!
We choo-choose it!
We choo-choose it!
The wizard school supreme.Your castle walls, they kept us safe.
The days with you, a dream
You taught us all our magic
And now one thing's quite clearWhere'er we roam
Where'er we roam
Our one true home
Our one and ownIs Ilvermorny dear!
