"(Y/N)!" You smile at Harry, Ron, and Hermione, all of who were excited to see you.
"Can I join you?" I ask, looking at the long Gryffindor table. Everyone who still thinks you and Harry are crazy sits a good few seats down. So mostly, its just the pair of you, Hermione, and the Weasleys.
"Of course." Hermione and Harry part so you can sit between them. You start eating, but not as vigorously as Ron.

"Pardon me, professor, but what exactly are you insinuating?" You nearly gag at the sound of Dolores Umbridge's voice. Everyone is exiting the Great Hall, and all students stop to watch what is happening. Dolores and Minerva are on the nearby staircase and are glaring at each other intensely.
"I am merely requesting that when it comes to students you preform with the prescribed disciplinary actions!" You look down to see your adoptive brother hiding his hand. Minerva must have seen it.
"So silly of me...." Dolores starts in her high pitched voice. "But it sounds....as if you're questioning my authority in my own classroom."
"Not at all, Dolores. Merely your midevil methods." Minerva takes a step up, making her look the one in charge. Which you support entirely.
"But to question my actions is to question the ministry. To question the minister himself!" Umbridge takes a few steps above McGonagall. Why is she acting as if she is the most important? Thats not how the authority line would be succeeded.
"I am a tolerant woman." The pink lady says proudly.
"Bull." You mutter under your breath.
"But the one thing I will not stand for is disloyalty."
"Disloyalty!" Minerva exclaims. It is clear she means to say that she is not the traitorous woman. Dolores looks back out onto the crowd of students in black robes. She grins menacingly as her eyes fall on you and Harry.
"Things at Hogwarts are far worse than I feared. Cornelius will have to deal with this immediately."
Why does this happen every year?!

Your mind swims with thoughts. You were in the Gryffindor common room with your brother when the Weasley twins read the paper. It was horrid, practically everyone in the tower was slack-jawed.
Having already revolutionized the teaching of Defense Against the Dark Arts, Dolores Umbridge will, as high inquisitor, have powers to address the seriously falling standards at Hogwarts School.
Which means that Dumbledore is loosing his power slowly. What will happen if she takes over completely? Its as if the Ministry is pulling at every string that Hogwarts has, prying at it until it will surely unravel from all its seams. Its become a web of issues that you and Harry are smack dab in the center of.
"Darling, you're wringing your hands. What's the matter?"
You look over at Draco. At the moment, you are sitting with your back pressed up against Ruby. Her pearly scales are a feeling of home to you, she is one of the first friends you made here it Hogwarts. Now, she is over thirty feet tall, and her torso is so large that her ribcage alone towers over you. You are up against her cold scales and her wings are draped not two feet to your side. Draco sits next to you, and he has just taken your (s/c) hand in his own.
"Nothing, I'm fine."
"Black, you git, tell me what's wrong with you."
"Love you too." You say with an airy giggle. He smiles at your laughter, something he adores. Its better than seeing the frown on your face. "Its just Umbridge. I'm worried what she will do."
