Doyoung

another day of work means another day of pure stress. every day is the same. go to meetings, meet some important people i won't remember, and sign a shit load of papers. but hey, whatever gives me money makes me happy, right?

my office is slowly becoming my home because i never leave. my dad left his company in my hands so i have to take care of it. i have to make sure it excels in every way possible. hopefully my dad is proud of what i've done for this company.

my secretary barged into my office, cutting my thoughts short. "doyoung! here is the coffee you ordered me to get!" jeez, how is he so bubbly this early in the morning?

"taeyong, i told you to knock before you come in. and stop talking so loudly, my ears are sensitive this early in the morning." taeyong nodded as he walked over to my desk to hand me my coffee. he then walked over to his small desk in the corner of my office. "sorry! i guess i woke up on the right side of the bed cause i'm feeling so energetic!"

i nodded, not wanting to continue this conversation. i got loads of work to do anyways. taeyong seemed to get the message because he started to get to work. better try and get this finished so i can leave early today.

"taeyong if you could please drop this off in the mail room that would be wonderful." right as the words rolled off my tongue his head shot up and he was in front of my desk in no time. "anything for you boss. also is the last thing i have to do for the day? i'm kind of tired." he chuckled while scratching his nape.

"yes after this you are dismissed." he silently cheered as he walked over to his desk and packed his stuff. i, in the meantime, started to wrap up whatever i was doing to call it a day. "bye boss! see you tomorrow!" i nodded in his direction and he (literally) skipped out of the room. why is he always so happy?

i started putting away my stuff around 1:20 and i was already locking up at 1:27 in the morning. i wanted to go home and sleep as soon as possible. it took me about 20 minutes to walk to my car in the parking garage and about 5 minutes to get myself situated in my car. the next second i was already driving out of there.

i wanted to speed all the way home but something about tonight made me want to take in my surroundings. i took my time driving down the empty roads. the stars were shining brighter than usual, which is quite odd because the pollution is really bad nowadays.

i didn't even notice i was almost home. i just had to cross this bridge and my condominium was nearby. i drove slowly admiring the bridge and the stars.

but i soon hit the break of my car. my eyes widen in fear. there at the ledge of the bridge, stood a boy ready to jump.
