doyoung paced around the living room as he and taeyong waited for jaehyun to come back from calling for help. "doyoung, you should sit down and drink some water. pacing around like that isn't good for you." taeyong was also getting a anxious because of doyoung's quiet mutters and quick movements.

doyoung stopped pacing around and slowly nodded his head and sat down on the couch. taeyong held his head in his hands and tried to collect his thoughts. was jaehyun a criminal? why didn't jaehyun tell him anything about this?

his thoughts were cut off by jaehyun walking into the living room. "ok so the guys are coming over in about 5 minutes. we should gather what we need, stuff that you guys think would be necessary. nothing too over the top though, they have everything."

taeyong and doyoung stared at jaehyun grab his book bag and stuff doyoung's laptop along with a water bottle and a pack of cookies. doyoung wanted to protest about his laptop but decided against it because jaehyun seemed to know what he was doing.

after 5 minutes of silence, three loud knocks echoed throughout the house. jaehyun stood up and motioned towards the others to follow. exchanging worried glances, taeyong and doyoung silently followed closely behind.

behind the door stood two males, one slightly taller than the other, wearing fully black clothing. "introductions in the car, we gotta hurry if you wanna find your prince charming safe and sound." the shorter one turned to make his way to the car first and everyone followed closely behind.

the shorter one of the two drove while the other one sat next to him, leaving the other three to sit in the back. "my name is sicheng and this is yuta. no need to question what we do or what we know. only thing i'll tell you guys is that we," he pointed at jaehyun, yuta, and himself, "go way back." taeyong side eyed doyoung and gulped. what has he gotten himself into?

yuta parked at a abandoned looking building and motioned everyone to get out of the vehicle. "we are going to grab some things, we might not use them but we never know what taejoon has up his sleeve." jaehyun and sicheng walked with yuta in the front and doyoung and taeyong followed them like lost puppies.

they stopped in front of a rusty looking door, yuta then knocked in some sort of pattern. the door slammed open and there stood a tall man. "yuta! sicheng! y'all are back quicky!" the tall male then looked behind them and covered his mouth with his hands. "jae! what the hell, where have you been?" jaehyun smiles sadly and engulfed the male in a hug.

doyoung felt taeyong stiffen beside him. you could almost taste the jealousy radiating off him. "hello um i'm taeyong and this is doyoung! i am jaehyun's boyfriend."

the tall man let go of jaehyun and stared at taeyong for a second or two with a serious expression. then he smiled even wider and brought taeyong into a big bear hug. "it's a pleasure to meet you! i'm johnny! nice to meet the man that snatched up little jae's heart. can't wait for us to have double dates, yeah?"

to say that taeyong couldn't feel his ribs was an understatement. this man, now known to be named johnny, was crushing his insides. jaehyun couldn't help but smile at them. his boyfriend and his childhood best friend getting along.

taeyong awkwardly laughed and then stood up straight. "wait, double dates?" johnny's eyes sparkled and nodded excitedly. "his name is ten and he isn't here right now, but you'll meet him soon!"

sicheng cleared his throat and motioned for everyone to go inside the room. "we still need to save your princess. so let's get going." yuta lead everyone into the room and unlocked another secret door. they were greeted by a giant collection of all sort of weapons.

"grab one and let's go."
