Chapter 5

Daniel and Hannah spent a lot of time together. Hannah and Jai got closer but Daniel didn’t get jealous. Today was Hannahs first scan. Daniel was picking her up from school and going with her. Hannah had already told her parents. They weren’t over the moon about the situation but they were there for her. Although she didn’t want them to come with her. The rest of the boys had no clue about Hannah being pregnant. Even Jai hadn’t a clue. That’s the way she wanted it. She didn’t want them to think badly of her.

The nurse called Hannah in. Hannah grabbed Daniels hand as they walked in. He was there every step of the way. The nurse looked down on Hannah when she found out Daniel wasn’t the Dad. This made her feel terrible about her self. Daniel soon made a comment towards about the nurse and told her not to judge people. The nurse got embarrassed and soon backed off.

After the scan they headed over to the Brooks household. James and Luke were editing a video. James was pretty clueless but he was trying to help Luke. Daniel joined Beau playing some video games whilst Hannah went upstairs to see Jai. Jai was humming along to one of Justin Biebers new songs. He hadn’t noticed Hannah yet.

‘Hi Jai.’ She smiled at him as he turned.

‘Hey Hannah.’ He moved over so she could sit on his bed with him. 

They sat together watching random youtube videos together. Both cracking up with laughter. Jai loved Hannahs laugh. Jai put the laptop down and looked at Hannah. They had been talking and texting a lot for the past few weeks. Jai had really began to like Hannah. 

‘Hannah, can I ask you something?’ He asked her.

‘Sure Jai.’ She smiled at him.

‘Would you like to be my girlfriend?’

Hannah froze. How could she respond? She didn’t want to hurt Jai. She really did like Jai just not like that. She wasn’t even ready for a relationship yet. She was scared on how to reply to Jai. He looked at her. His beautiful eyes full of worry. He never really talked to many girls. He had only ever been rejected by girls before. 

‘I can’t Jai. I’m sorry.’

Jai left. Hannah didn’t know what to do. She didn’t even know where Jai was going. She went back downstairs to see Jai sitting on the sofa on his phone. Hannah decided to just sit on the other sofa on her own. She pretended to be on her phone looking at something but she was just looking at a blank screen. Jai wouldn’t even look at her. He was hurt from rejection.

Luke was the first to notice something was wrong between them. He didn’t want to make it public. He sent them both a text asking what happened. Jai replied but Hannah couldn’t. She just felt like crying. She stood up and walked home. Daniel and Beau walked back in to the sitting room after playing video games. Daniel noticed Hannah was missing and began panicking.

‘Where is Hannah?’ He questioned.

‘Dunno.’ Jai replied rather blunt.

‘Didn’t she say where she is going?’

‘Jai asked Hannah to be his girlfriend and she said she can’t. I sent them both a text asking what happened and she left.’ Luke told Daniel.

‘We need to find her.’ Daniel told them all. He was worried about her.

‘Are you two together?’ Jai asked Daniel.

‘No.’ Daniel snapped at Jai.

‘Then why are you always coming over later instead of with everyone else and why do you always disappear.’

Daniel was starting to get annoyed by now. ‘Because she is fucking pregnant.’ He put his hand over his mouth over what he had just shouted out.

Everyone was in shock but nobody questioned him after that, everyone just got their shoes on and left. Luke and James went to the central. Daniel and Beau went to near her area. Jai was looking locally. None of them really knew where abouts she would go. Jai was just about to give up when he saw Hannah sitting by the bus stop.

‘Hannah’ He said. She turned and saw him.
