Chapter 8

Hannah froze at the sound of Jacksons voice. This was the first time she had heard his voice since the break up. Hannah missed the sound of his voice. Her eyes filled with tears at the harsh words that escaped his mouth. She couldn’t help but remember how before the only words that would leave Jacksons lips were the words that comforted her and made her feel safe when she was at her worse. Hannahs whole body tensed up as a few teas eventually left her eyes as they walked past. She just wanted to go home. She just wanted to see Daniel.

It was Chemistry. Hannah and Luke were together in this class. Hannah hadn’t spoken since Jackson had made the comment towards her before first period. Luke had been trying to cheer her up ever since. In the end he decided to get in contact with Daniel. All the boys knew if anyone was going to get Hannah to talk and cheer her up it would be him. The bell rang for lunch and after many attempts of Luke trying to get Hannah on his back she finally gave in and hopped on.

Jai and James had arranged with Luke to meet him and Hannah at the shop. Daniel and Beau were going to meet them there. Jai and James had been waiting for about 5minutes when they saw Hannah on Lukes back heading towards them. As they approached Jai and James, Jackson emerged out of the shops with his group of friends.

‘On both twins I see? Classy Hannah. Well then again they are both probably the same so it makes no difference. Oh and who wouldn’t want her in bed? She’s pretty good, well then again I taught her everything she knows.’ Jackson laughed.

Hannahs eyes filled with tears as her face went bright red. She was embarrassed from what Jackson had just said. Who was he to tell everyone about what they got up to? Even though what he said wasn’t exactly a bad thing it’s the way he spat it out which hurt her most. 

‘Shut up Jackson. She isn’t with any of us, we’re just friends.’ Luke snapped back.

‘Oh, don’t you want her in that condition? Damaged goods, thanks to me.’ He smirked.

All three boys blood began to boil. Jai, James and Luke couldn’t believe what Jackson was coming out with. He was lower than low. He was disgusting. He got Hannah pregnant and was now treating her like this. They each looked at him in disgust. Hannah had a few tears trickling down her face as she cried in silence. None of the boys knew what to do.

Jai turned to see Hannah and before anything else could be said Jai had walked straight up to Jackson and swung the first punch. He was so angry about what he had just heard and how Jackson had made Hannah feel. Especially seeing as she is pregnant. A fight broke out between all of the boys just as Beau and Daniel pulled up in a car just beside where they all were. They were both in shock with what they were witnessing. Beau told Daniel to get Hannah in the car and drive her to his. He would meet them both back there after he had helped his brothers and James. 

When Daniel noticed Hannah crying he lept out of the car with Beau following. Daniel walked Hannah over to the car as Beau began pulling the other boys of his brothers and James. Hannah watched the fight as Daniel drove them off. She began crying even harder. She knew it was all her fault. She hated herself right now. She felt worthless.

Daniel took Hannah into the sitting room. He sat her on his lap so she could dig her heard into his chest and just let it all out. Daniel couldn’t really make out what had happened, all he knew was that Jackson had hurt Hannah and just like his friends promised they were there to support and protect Hannah. Daniel got angry but he knew for Hannahs sake he had to hold his anger in. He decided to put on The Grinch. So what if it wasn’t Christmas? It was one of Hannahs favourite films and none of the boys would mind when they got back. Hannah began smiling and laughing as it began. Daniel didn’t bring up what just happened. He didn’t want her to get upset again.

‘Go get yourselves cleaned up.’ Beau ordered the boys as they walked in the front door before he went in to see Hannah and Daniel together smiling.

‘Woah, what happened?’ Daniel asked as he saw Beaus bloody nose. Hannah sat up straight in shock.

‘You should see the other guys.’ He laughed. ‘No really though. They ended up running away.’

‘Is everyone else ok though?’ Hannah asked, she was extremely worried. 

‘Yeah. They are just a bit dirty. No damage though.’ Beau responded.

James, Luke and Jai bundled into the sitting room. They gathered around Hannah and Daniel and talked about the whole fight and what happened. Daniel laughed at how proud his friends were for basically winning the fight. Hannah was still upset about everything. She still had feelings for Jackson. It was pretty hard for her not to have feelings for him. He had been there for her for 2years and now he was treating her like dirt. She was hurt.
