Chapter 13

Jai took Hannah upstairs when they got in whilst the other boys made their way into the living room. It wasn’t weird for Jai and Hannah to go off together for a bit, they usually disappeared together at some point to talk. Everyone knew now that they had nothing more than a friendship but Daniel. Daniel thought Jai still liked Hannah and he believed Hannah shared the same feelings with Jai. He tried not to show his jealousy but to Beau it was obvious. The other boys were oblivious to Daniels feelings but Beau knew his best friend. 

Jai and Hannah sat on Jais bed as they were on his laptop. Jai went through his bags looking for his gift for Hannah. He smiled as he got in out the bag and looked at Hannah. She was clueless, she thought Jai was going to show her what he had bought in town today. Jai put the laptop on the floor and turned to face Hannah straight on. Hannah smiled at Jai as he opened up the little box.

‘Hannah, I got this for you.’ He smiled. ‘I just want you to know I’m always here for you.’

Hannah smiled. Jai handed her over the box which contained a heart shaped pendant. It was already open and contained a small image of her and all of the boys together. When the pendant was closed Hannah saw Jai had gotten words carved into it. On the front it read ‘Hannah, you’re my best friend. I’m always here for you.’ and on the back it had the word ‘Forever.’. Jai was going to get Hannah a promise ring to show he’d always be here for her but he didn’t think it would be personal enough and the other boys may take the promise ring in the wrong way. 

‘Omg Jai, I love it. It’s so beautiful.’ Hannah said with the biggest smile on her face. ‘Thankyou so much.’

Jai helped Hannah put it on as Hannah admired the beauty of the necklace. Jai suggested they take a few pictures together. They loved using all the different effects. They got the laptop back up on the bed and took a few. They only uploaded one to facebook. The picture where Hannah had her necklace from Jai shown clearly and they were both smiling together. It really was a cute image. Within seconds the picture had many likes and comments, most asking if they were dating. 

Downstairs, the boys were on twitcam. Many fans were asking where Jai was. The fans knew they were at the Brooks household so obviously they would be questioning his whereabouts. The boys done a few calls to fans before their chat filled up with questions about Jai and Hannah being together, many referred to her as his girlfriend. The boys were confused. Jai didn’t have a girlfriend, where were they getting this from.

‘Guys what are you on about? Jai and Hannah were never together. What girlfriend?’ Luke asked. 

The chat then filled with fans asking about the photo Jai had put on facebook. James signed in facebook and the image appeared. The boys knew there was nothing going on, well except Daniel. Just as they looked at the picture in more detail Hannah and Jai joined the boys. The boys stared at her necklace.

‘Guys, are you together?’ Beau asked, forgetting they were on twitcam.

‘No, what?’ Jai replied.

‘Ohh, fans were saying you had a girlfriend. Thank God they were wrong.’ Luke laughed.

Hannah went and sat with Daniel as Jai sat with Luke. Fans asked about the necklace. Jai explained how he bought it to show he’d always be there for Hannah. They were best friends nothing more to it. Daniel let out a sigh of relief hearing this information. Beau couldn’t help but stare at Daniels reaction. It wasn’t long until Beau needed to hear Daniel to tell him what was going on with him.

‘Skip, come with me to the shop? We’ll get some snacks for tonight’ Beau spoke up.

Daniel got up leaving Hannah, Jai, James and Luke on with the fans. Gina was already home, in her room watching TV so Beau decided to take her car as it would be quicker. Daniel had no-idea about what Beau was about to ask. Beau wasn’t too sure himself. He just needed to know how Daniel was feeling. Daniel wasn’t one to let others know what he was feeling, he thought it was like a weakness.

‘I know you like Hannah.’ Beau blurrted out.

‘What? No I don’t.’ Daniel defended himself.

‘Yes, you do. I’ve seen how you are around her. The other boys may be oblivious to this but I know.’

‘Fine, I like her. I always have. Nothings going to change.’

‘Have you asked her?’

‘I don’t need to. She likes Jai. Jai likes her.’

‘No, they are just friends. Jai thought he liked her but he don’t and she doesn’t like him. Talk to her.’

Daniel knew he was going to tell her. Not tonight but at some point he would let her know how he felt. Nothing was going to stop him now.
