Chapter 11

‘You like her’ Beau made kisses faces towards Daniel as he walked into the sitting room where the other boys sat.

‘Like who?’ Daniel acted confused, he knew exactly who Beau was on about.

‘Hannah.’ 

‘No man. We’re just friends. I’m on someone else anyway.’ Daniel lied. He did like Hannah. He always had. He wish they could be more than friends but Hannah wouldn’t go for it. There was no other girl. Any girl Daniel would hook up he would compare to Hannah. None of them matched her beauty.

Beau left it at that. He believed Daniel. They all did. Daniel was always getting with some girl he had just met. A pointless fling. Daniel knew it. The girls knew it. Everyone knew it but nobody seemed to care. It wasn’t as if Daniel was the only one of the boys that did this. James, Luke, Tyla and Beau were all the same. Jai was different. Jai couldn’t be like that. Jai was too vulnerable himself. He would end up falling for the girl. She would end up hurting him. All the boys knew this. They never let him get too caught up.

Daniel didn’t stay long. He decided to walk home as he text Hannah. It wasn’t long until she fell asleep so he walked slowly around the streets until he got home. Daniel was excited. Tomorrow he would be going with Hannah to her scan. He would be going in with her. He’d get to see the little baby inside of her. Even though the baby wasn’t Daniels he felt like it was. He had already made plans with the others. Beau would be picking up Hannah and the boys and then Daniel after school. The boys had all agreed to squeeze in the back so Hannah wasn’t squashed. She had no idea but Daniel knew Jai would be there to tell her.

Hannah got on the bus to see that Jai wasn’t there. James and Tyla sat together so she sat next Luke. She looked at him confused as if to ask where Jai was. He just shrugged his shoulders. Luke was never good in the morning. Everyone knew that. Luke knew it. He never got enough sleep. He always ended up on Twitter until gone 2am so he never had enough sleep. He wouldn’t stop though. He loved talking to fans. 

‘Sorry. I’m not sure where Jai is. He said he wouldn’t be in school today and he will see us all later.’ Luke told Hannah before giving her a quick hug.

Hannah gave a half smile. At school Jai was her rock. Since her and Jackson broke up her friends left her. The boys were there for her. They didn’t care. Jai especially. Jame, Luke and Tyla were around but none of them were like Jai or Daniel. Luke realised this and it wasn’t long until he recieved a text of Jai telling him to look after Hannah and not to leave her. Luke would do this. He never wanted to let Jai down.

Time flew by. Luke had been cheering Hannah up all day. They were all waiting for Beau to come by in the car with Jai. Beau soon arrived but there was no Jai. Everyone was confused. Hannahs heart sank. She wanted Jai there. He had been just as excited as her. Not even Beau was sure where Jai was. He wasn’t picking up his phone. Beau knew Hannah had to be at the hospital in time and was sure Jai knew this so he went and got Daniel and went straight to the hospital.

They arrived at the hospital and were frantically walking around finding where they had to be. When they finally reached the right area they saw Jai sitting in the waiting room. He was on his own and he had a few bags around him full with a new pair of vans, beanies and a few jumpers. Everyone sighed as they thought Jai was doing something extremely important today little did they know he was hiding a little bag in his box of shoes.

Hannah soon got called in. This time it was a nice nurse. They were confused on why Hannah was back for another scan so soon. So was Hannah but her Mum was making her go. She wanted scans of the baby and just to check everything was ok. Her Mum was very persistent 

‘Everything is fine Hannah.’ The nurse smiled before handing her the baby scans.

Hannah and Daniel walked out together. The other boys all stood up in excitement as they saw them with the scans. They all ran 

down the corridor. They blew up the silent hospital with the thudding from their steps. Each of the boys were lit up as Hannah passed around the scan. 

After the boys finally calmed down from the excitement they made their way over to Hannahs. Her younger cousins were already there and had no idea that Hannah had friends coming over. As they walked into the living room they realised her cousins knew who the boys were. They were speechless. 

‘Hey, I’m Beau, this is Luke, Jai, Daniel, James and Tyla.’ Beau introduced themselves.

‘W-w-w-we know who you are’ They said in a gaze.

‘This is Ellie and Elora. They’re twins like Jai and Luke.’ Hannah told the boys. ‘Ellie, Elora, the boys are joining us for tonight.’ She smiled before told the boys to come and meet her parents.
