Amaris POV
after I took josh back to practice I went home and got in the bed and cried my eyes out. I don't know why I continue to let him play with my feelings.
"Aye what you in here crying about?" My brother Darius said sitting on my bed. I just cried harder
"Come here sis" he said sitting back on my bed and pulling me to him. I just cried on his chest
"Is it about what you texted me earlier?" He said i nodded my head since I couldn't get my words out
"Stop crying and tell me about this boy. You told me you never been in love or had your heart broken" he said. I sat up and wiped my tears.
"As you know his name Josh Thomas, he 16 he been my best friend for 2 years..." i said but was interrupted
"2 yearsss? Why I'm just now finding out?" He said
"Can you let me finish" I said rolling my eyes
"Yeah my bad" he said
"Like I was saying he's been my best friend for 2 years , he had a crush on me in middle school but i didn't pay him any attention. But 9th grade year we had two of our classes together so we became close and then summer hit and we became Even closer like FaceTime every night and texting all day, i began to catch feelings but he had a girl. Then in the middle of summer she broke his heart and we just stopped being close until 10th grade year we got to class and had all most all our classes together we became cool again and feelings got deeper and then 11th grade year he still with her and I'm still feeling him but he only looks at me like his best friend" i said
"If he got a girlfriend why you still dealing with him?" He said
"If I can't have him as my boyfriend I'll rather have him as my best friend then nothing at all" I said shrugging
"Look sis, if this boy can't see yo worth then he's not good for you. If he was feeling you like you say he was he wouldn't have went and got a girlfriend on you neither time, all I can tell you is to distance your self from him. AND STOP CRYING OVER HIM BEFORE I BEAT HIS ASS! I'm going back home my daddy sick so I need to Check on him. Tell yo mama I said hey , love you sis, and tell yo fine ahh sister I said text me" he said
"Love you too. I hope your daddy feel better, and leave my sister alone boy" I said laughing
Me and Darius aren't real brothers and sisters but blood couldn't make us any closer. If anybody asks thats my blood brother and I'm his blood sister. We've been close for like 3 years now.
After talking to Darius , I got up and took a shower then took a nap before it was time for me to go get josh from practice since he asked me to come get him.
My alarm clock was going off letting me know it was time to get josh from practice. It seemed like I just laid down to take a nap. I just laid there because I did not want to get up. Finally after 5 minutes of laying there I put on my clothes and shoes and got in the car to go get him.
When I pulled up to the school Josh was sitting on the curb.
"Bout time" he said getting in the car
"I didn't want to get out my bed" I said looking at him
"But you did tho" He said smirking. I just shook my head at him.
"Where you going?" I asked
"Take me to the West real fast, then we gone chill together" he said
"Boy it's 7:30" i said
"And it's a Friday, you can be out late we did this before Maris" he said
"Okay whatever" I said.
Josh took my phone off the Bluetooth and played his music. He looked at me weird then he put my phone down and got on his phone.
Ten minutes later we pulled up to the west side and he got out.
"I'll be back, lock these doors" he said. I locked the &&doors and sat back looking out the window. It's about to be a long night honestly.
Five minutes later somebody knocked on the window making me jump. I seen it was Josh and unlocked the door.
"Bout time" I said restarting the car.
"I wasn't even gone long" he said
"Where we going now?" I asked
"Idk lets just ride" he said
"Boy you gone give me some gas money" I said looking at him
"You know I gotcha baby" he said looking at me with low eyes then licking his lips
"Boyyyy" I said shaking my head
I pulled off and turned on TLE Cinco - All the money
"Ayeee best friend what you know about this" Josh said turning the radio all the way up.
"Who don't know this song" I said laughing
"You smoking tonight?" He said starting to roll up
"What type of question is that, you know I am" i said laughing
"Bet boo" he said
He began rolling the blunt and I drove to the nearest park because I didn't feel like driving around while we was smoking.
When I got to the park I put the car in park and sat back and just watched him light the blunt.
"You ever thought about us being more than friends?" He asked out of nowhere
"All the time. Have you?" I asked
"Plenty of times. Do you really wanna be my girlfriend , imma damaged person" he said
"Yes I really want to be your girlfriend and I wanna help you heal from all that hurt as much as I can. Do you wanna be my boyfriend frl?" i said
"Yes I want to be your boyfriend, i just don't want to break my girlfriend hurt man, it's not that easy to just break up with someone you got love for" he said
"But it's easy to break my heart?" I said taking the blunt from him and inhaling
"I'm not saying that! You know I'm not doing this intentionally. Im just stuck. I love you and I love my girlfriend" he said taking the blunt from me
"Mmhmm" I said with my head against the seat
"Do you even value this friendship?" I asked after a couple of minutes
"Okay now you just asking dumb questions" he said
"That's not a crazy question" I said looking at him
"Yes I value Our friendship, I don't ever want to lose you, I want you in my life forever. If you can't be my girlfriend I want you to be my best friend or just in my life period. I can't imagine life with out you, I don't know what I did before I met yo lil cute ahh" he said looking dead in my eyes
