Josh POV
Me and Maris was sitting in this car high asf. I was looking at her because she is beautiful.
"You know everybody thinks you gone be in my life forever they always say josh ain't going nowhere you gone deal with him for the rest of your life" Amaris said
"And they not lying. You stuck with me forever baby girl" I said grabbing her hand and just stared at her
"Stop doing that" she said showing her dimples that I loved
"Doing what love" I said licking my lips
"That" she said pointing to my mouth smiling
"I can't help it, it's a habit" i said
"You can" she said laughing
Our conversation was interrupted by my phone ringing. It was Malaysia, i didn't want to answer it cause I knew how Amaris would feel, but she just kept calling so I answered
"Babyyy" Malaysia said
"Wassup" i said
"What you doing" she said
"Nothing chilling, wyd" i said
"Nothing I miss youuu, I wish I could see you" she said, I could tell she was pouting
"I miss you too and I wish i could see you tooo" i said smiling, I could feel Amaris staring at me
"Aye babygirl imma call you back later I'm busy" i said
"Okay I love you" she said
"Love you too baby" I said. I hung up the phone then looked at Amaris. She just sat up and turned the car on
"Oh so you tired of chilling with me" i said
"Yup! You gotta go" she said with attitude. I didn't even bother to say nothing back
She pulled off and drove. I got her phone and played Georgia Florida line- meant to be. I put my hand on her thigh and started singing to her. Soon the smile that I love started to show on her face.
A couple songs later we pulled up to my house and I just sat there and looked out the window.
"I promise one day imma get it together. You gone be all mine, we gone get married and we gone have some beautiful chocolate babies" I said out of nowhere
"Don't make promises you can't keep Josh" she said sounding like she was about to cry.
"I'm..." i was interrupted by my brother Jamarcus knocking on the window
"Aye sis unlock the door" he said
"This nigga" I said under my breath
"Hey brother I missed you" she said turning towards the back seat
"I miss you too, you act like you don't know us nomore" he said
"Nah , me and Josh just now getting back cool" she said
"Well mama miss ya and she know you put here so she told me to tell you to come in and speak" he said making me sigh. My mama loved her some Amaris. She only liked Malaysia because she my sister friend, mama swear up and down me and Amaris gone be together forever.
"But I'm high asf" Amaris said laughing
"You know she don't care girl" he said
"Okay come on y'all"she said taking the keys out of the ignition.
When we walked in the house mama was sitting on the couch watching tv, but when she seen Amaris she hopped up.
"There go my baby! Mama miss you" She said making me roll my eyes
"I miss you too mama. How you been" Amaris said
"I been good, just dealing with these bad ahh kids. Why you ain't been around" mama asked
"Me and yo son haven't been talking" she said looking at me
"What he do" mama said
"It's a long story for another day" she said
"I think I already know" mama said cutting her eye at me.
It was raining and thundering outside and a loud crackle came making Amaris jump in my arm.
"Scary ahh lil girl" i whispered in her ear. Amaris phone started ringing and i seen it was her mama
"Hey mama..... at Ms. Kathy house...... okay" she said
"My mama want to know if I can stay the night since it's raining real bad and she don't want me driving in it" Amaris said to my mama
"Of course you can. I trust you enough to sleep with josh. Don't make me regret it" mama said looking between us.
"He'll end up on the floor anyways" she said laughing
"You got me fucked up" I whispered to her since her scary ahh was still in my arms. She started to giggling making my mama turn around since she had started walking off.
"What's funny?" Mama said
"Josh cussing"Amaris snitched
"He ain't gone happy to i beat his ass. Now I'm going to sleep, be good kids mama love y'all" she said kissing our forehead
"We love you too mama" i said
I took Amaris up to my room and gave her clothes to change into. Good thing I cleaned up my room yesterday.
"You ain't getting these back" she said going to the bathroom to change.
"Oh nahh baby you gone have to give them back" I said
She came back into the room and my clothes was swallowing her. She looked good in my clothes tho. She got in my bed and turned on the tv. Most girls would have been shy but she wasn't.
"I'm finna go take a shower I'll be back" i said
I went and got in the shower and let my thoughts take over. I stayed in there for almost a hour and the water started getting cold. I got out and put my clothes on.
When i went back into the room Amaris was spread across my bed. I just knew this was finna be a long night with her. I put my dirty clothes in my basket and went to get in the bed. I slide in and pulled Amaris close. She woke up and just looked into my eyes.
"I love you so much" she said kissing my lips catching me off guard.
She laid on my chest and went back to sleep leaving me deep in my thoughts once again.
After laying down long enough i was also in a deep sleep.
