Amaris POV It was going on 12 in the morning when Josh phone woke me up out my sleep.
"Josh yo phone keep ringing" I said shaking him
"Answer" he said still sleep.
I picked his phone up and it was his mama calling back to back like I knew she would be.
"Hello" I said still sleep
"OMG Maris is my baby okay, I've been calling for an hour" she said
"Yes mama he okay, he's over here sleeping" I said
"Okay tell him to call me when he wakes up and that I love him so much" she said sounding like she was about to cry.
"I will" I said hanging up.
After I got off the phone with Josh mama, he pulled me close to him and kissed my forehead and whispered "I love you forever and always" and went back to sleep.
I woke up at 8 o'clock , did my hygiene and went downstairs to cook breakfast it was Sunday so I was gone sleep in all day.
Josh was still upstairs sleeping he probably won't wake up to late.
I cooked Pancakes , eggs , sausage, bacon , grits and toast. By the time i finished cooking it was 10 o'clock and josh was walking into the kitchen.
"Morning" he said coming behind me and kissing my cheek.
"Morning. You hungry?" I asked
"Yes I'm starving" he said sitting at the table
"Okay. I'll fix your plate. Your mama called like i expected" i said
"What she say?" He sighed
"She was worried about you and she said to call her and that she love you" I said putting his plate in front of him.
"Oh"he said shrugging
"You gone call her?" I said
"Idk I'll think about it" he said while eating his food
"Okay" i said. I couldn't push him into doing something he didn't want to do.
I fixed my plate and sat beside josh. It was silent but a comfortable silence.
Once I finished my food I went upstairs to get dressed. I was going to get out this house today.
I got dressed in some black and white shorts with the jacket to match and my black and white Jordan's. I went to the bathroom and did light natural make up, laid my fly always in my frontal down and slicked my baby edges.
"Where you going?" Josh said while I was coming downstairs. "We are going out! Now take my picture" I said handing him my iPhone XS Max

"Do you need to go get clothes?" I asked Josh
"Yeah" he sighed.
"Aright lets go" I said grabbing my phone and keys.
We got in the car and I put my phone on Omeretta ~ love me, i loved this song because it was some what of what me and Josh was going through.
(A/n, yes I know she is Omeretta but she's not going to be a rapper/singer in this book) *play the song* Josh smacked his teeth and looked at me when he heard the lyrics
"Say that you love me, say that you care for me , gave you my heart can you treat it carefully? If not give it backkkk" I sang to him making him mug me
"It's obviously that we ain't on the same pageeee , it's probably, that hoe who you got named save , but imma just fall back , just give me a call back for it's to late , I would tell you I love you but if you say it back then that's too fake" i sang again making him turn the radio down and mug me
"Stop doing that shit man" he said shaking his head
"It's just a song" I said laughing
"Mmhmm" he said pulling out his phone
Twenty minutes later we pulled up to his house.
"You want me to go in with you ?" I asked
"You can" he said getting out. I got out with him and he grabbed my hand and we walked in together.
His mama was sitting on the couch with her head in her hands. When she heard the door close she jumped off the couch and came towards us. She pulled josh into a hug and just cried. He eventually wrapped his arms around her.
"Mama stop crying" He said sounding like he was about to cry
"No baby I'm soo sorry for saying that to you , I didn't mean I was just so upset when I found it" she said holding his face in her hands
"It's alright mama, me and Maris finna go out I'll be back later" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards his room.
"Hep me find some to wear" he said
I went to his dresser and pulled out an Obama shirt then went to his closet and looked through his jeans and got out black skinny jeans with wheat Jordan 1s with a chain and his watch.
"Here! Now hurry up" I said handing the clothes to him and sat on his bed and turned on Netflix.
Josh was in the shower for a good lil minute so I ended up falling asleep. He started shaking me telling me to get up. He was fully dressed and ready to go.
"Take my picture now" he said handing me his phone and walking into the hallway
I walked to the hall with him and started taking his pictures.
We walked to the car and sat there for a lil bit I guess he posted his picture on Instagram cause he tagged me in it.
