Amaris POV It's been two weeks since Josh walked out of the restaurant. When we see each other in school he don't look my way and he moved his seat in the classes we did have together.
I didn't want to stop being his friend but i had to for my own good. He was breaking my heart and i needed to move on from him.
I was currently in English class and josh was sitting next to me since somebody took his seat.
"So you not gone talk to me?" I asked
"You said you didn't wanna be friends nomore so what I need to talk to you for" he said looking down at his phone.
"I said that because I'm trying to get rid of these feelings I got for you! I can't do that with you showing me affection like we in a relationship! You ain't give me a chance to explain before you walked out" I said looking at him
"What is it to explain Amaris! Just leave me alone" he said putting his head phones in. A tear slipped out my eye and he shook his head at me me. I quickly wiped it and put my head down.
The day was over and I was walking to my locker, and i seen Josh had his girlfriend up against the locker hugging her. I did a deep swallow and kept walking to my locker to put my books up.
When i put my books up Josh And Malaysia wasn't right there nomore. I walked To my car and josh was standing on the passenger side of my car. I unlocked the door and got in. I tried to hurry up and lock the door back but he was already in the car.
"What do you want" I said with my head on the steering wheel after I realized he wasn't going to get out
"Why you keep doing this to me?" He said. I hurried up and snapped my head towards him.
"Nigga! No the real question is why you keep doing this to me? Do yo girlfriend know you sitting in my car right now?" I said
"Nah But we not talking about my girlfriend right now" he said
"We not talking about nothing , this conversation over get out my car" I said starting the car
"Ian going nowhere" he said pushing his seat back
"Well find you a ride home because I'm not taking you home" I said pulling off going towards my house.
"Take me to get something to eat" He said I ignored him and continued my way home. He always think he can do stuff like what he did in class and then we just magically cool again.
I pulled up to the house and he sat up and looked at me.
"On blood you childish bro" he said shaking his head
"I'm childish? Okayyyy" I said getting out. When I was finna walk pass him to go in the house he snatch me up and pushed me up against the car
"Say mane you gone stop trying to play me like a goofy fuck wrong with you" he said wrapping his hands around my neck
"Let me go Josh" i said getting mad
"Nah you trying to play me like them goofy ass niggas you be fucking with" he said. I got mad and just started swinging on him. I punched him in his face a good 4 times. He let me go and started covering his face.
"Aye man stop hitting me man!" He yelled
A couple minutes later my brother came and got me off him. I just cried into his chest.
"Aye man back up, i should beat yo ass for making my sister cry" I heard Darius say I guess josh tried to come to me.
"Come on Maris go in the house real fast" Darius said.
Josh POV I know I hurt Amaris bad for her to start fighting me. I think I just need to leave her alone.
I heard her brother tell her to go in the house.
"Get in the car" he said walking towards his car. I followed him to the car and got in.
When we got in the car he pulled off.
"You think it's cool to make my sister cry?" He said putting his gun on his lap. I wasnt scared but i didn't want to be killed by Maris brother.
"I ain't doing it intentionally" I said
"Look mane my sister told me everything, leave her alone or imma shoot ya where the sun don't shine. If you don't wanna be with her leave her alone don't be playing with my sister heart" he said. Then he picked his gun up and aimed it at my foot. He shot it but missed my foot.
"I missed on purpose next time I won't miss homie, now figure out what you wanna do. Where you stay" he said patting my shoulder.
I told him where I stay and sat back thinking until we pulled up to my house.
"Remember what I said" he said making a gun with his fingers.
I walked in to the house and went to my mama room. I got in the bed with her and she looked at me.
"Boy what happened to your face" she said touching my face. I winced and pulled away.
"Amaris fought me. Mama I messed up" I said letting a tear fall
"Hold on baby" she said getting. While she was gone I was in full blown tears.
"Now tell me what you did to make you be in here crying like this and why Amaris fight you" she said.
I broke the story down to her.
"Mama I really like her i might even be in love with her but i don't want to hurt my girlfriend" I said still crying.
"So you rather break the girl you in love with heart and not yo lil girlfriend ?" She said
"I don't want to break neither one of there hearts" I said
"Look son, next time Amaris brother not gone play with you , so leave her alone until you figure out what it is you want. I don't care how long it take. And also think about how you would feel if Amaris got a boyfriend and you had to see her happy with him, now get out my room for I beat yo ass myself" she said kicking me
I went to my room and texted Amaris
