Amaris POV Me and Kam been texting for a couple days and I finally decided to let him take me on a date since I haven't been out in a while.
Kam texted me and told me he was coming to get me at 2:30 and it was 12 o'clock. So i got up to get ready.
I got in the shower for 15 minutes and plugged up my hot comb so I could lay my frontal hairs down. While I waited for the comb to heat up I brushed my teeth and washed my face.
I grabbed my phone and turned on K-Ci & JoJo - all my life. I wanted to listen to some old music while I got ready.
After I finished brushing my teeth I flat ironed my hair then hit my wild hairs with the hot comb, and did a half up half down style to my hair.
It was 1:30 so I went to my room and looked through my closet. I finally settled with a plaid of the shoulder shirt with some blue pants and yellow sandles to bring out the yellow in my shirt, with a little blue purse. I spradded some pure seduction perfume on and checked the time.

When I finished getting ready it was 2:15. So I went downstairs and sat on the couch until he got here.
I got on my phone and scrolled through me and josh pictures. I haven't talked to him since the day my "dad" was here. Honestly I miss him but I was still trying to get rid of these feelings for. I like Kam but it's like I don't like him enough.
My phone rung and it was josh letting me know he was outside. I got up and locked up the house. My mama was gone out of town with my cousins, so I had the house to myself.
When I got in the car Kam was looking good as ever. He has on a red Gucci shirt, some black jeans gucci shoes and a red tommy Jacket, with a cross chain and his hair braided to the back and glasses on with a Gucci fanny pack.

"Wassup ma, you look beautiful" he said
"Hey and you don't look to bad your self" I said looking at him
"You ready to head out" He said
"Yeah where are we going?" I asked
"It's a surprise lil ma, just sit back and relax" he said.
"Okay" I said rolling my eyes. He turned the music up and pulled off while I got on Facebook.
A couple minutes in the ride Kam phone rung.
"Wassup bro" he said
"........"
"Nah man I can't I'm taking my girl out right now" he said making me turn my head to him, he looked at me and smiled.
"......"
"Aight bet. I'll hit you up when I'm on my way home" he said hanging up.
"So I'm your girl now" i Said
"I just be talking" he said laughing
"Well you need to stop just talking" I laughed back.
"Yes ma'am" he said licking his lips making me shake my head.
About an hour later we pulled up to Break Out. I never told him but I always wanted to go to one.
"How did you know I wanted to come here" I said excitedly
"Cause I'm Kam baby I know everything" he said
"Boy gone" I said laughing.
Kam parked and we got out. He grabbed my hand and we walked in together.
"How many" a lady greeted us
"2" Kam said
"Okay that will be 45.50" she said. Pulled out my wallet to pay my half but Kam stopped me.
"What you doing girl I got it" he said
"No kam i have money so I'll pay for myself" i said
"But I'm the one taking you on a date so put it up" he said handing the lady his card.
"Okay" I mumbled putting the money up.
2 hours later
We had been at break out for 2 hours and I was ready to go. I like Kam but he always think he's right about ever thing, so it cost us to be in there for two hours. His smart mouth and him thinking he right all the time is another reason why I stopped talking to him 3 years ago.
"You hungry" kam asked
"No" I said simply.
"Okay. I had fun today" he said
"'Me too" I said
"What's wrong ?" He said
"Just tired. Can you take me home?" I asked finally looking at him.
He looked at me for a second then said "yeah sure". He started the car and headed to my house.
The ride was silent, I ended up falling asleep.
It felt like I was sleep for 15 minutes when Kam woke me up saying we was in front of my house.
"Can I take you out again?" He asked
"We will see. See you in school" I said getting out.
It was going on 6 o'clock so I took a shower and then watched a movie on Netflix.
Like a hour and thirty minutes in the move my phone rung, it was josh.
"Come open the door" he said and then hung up. Well damn.
I got up and walked to the door. When I opened it Josh was standing there with his hood over his head and his head day.
"Hey come in what's wrong?" I said. He finally looked up and his eyes was blood shot red.
"Come on let's go to my room" I said grabbing his hand. When we got to my room I shut the door and walked to the bed. We got in and he laid his head on my chest.
"Come on Josh tell me what's wrong" I said rubbing through his hair.
"Me and my mama got to fussing again" he said his voice was cracking.
"She told me I wasn't shit and never was gone be shit and that I was just like my broke ass daddy, she found the weed in my clothes that I had been selling" he said breaking down.
"I know I'm not shit but it hurts even worse to hear yo own mama say it. Look man I broke yo heart and I broke my mama heart by trying to live the fast life. My daddy left me cause he knew I wouldn't be shit. It ain't no point in me living the woman that I love the most are hurt because of me" he said crying harder.
"Listen at me Josh! Don't let that get to you. You are something. You are a lot of great things you're a talented football player , an amazing friend and a amazing son. You just had a little faze to go through. Your mama loves you and she didn't mean the things she said she was just hurt. I bet in a hour or so she's going to be calling apologizing and wondering where you are. You have every reason to be living. Think of how hurt me and your mama would be if something happened to you. Don't say anything else like that Josh God hears everything. I love you okay" I said
"I love you too Amaris. I'm truly sorry for breaking your heart man, if i could do it over I would" he said lowly then i heard his light snores.
