[Next Day]
I woke up with a certain person jumping on my bed. Chuckling, I had opened my eyes and looked at Takara smiling. Even after what she saw.. Its like she wasn't effected by it.. I thought. Having her in my arms, I had kissed her head multiple times. "Now what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in bed?" I stated.
"Mama, papa's here!"
My eyes widened, feeling my body get tense. There's no way that Haise's here - let alone her knowing that he's her father. I thought, quickly getting up. "Takara, stay here, and don't make a sound.." I told her, having my kakugan eyes show. She nodded and hide under the blankets. As I left the room, I had checked every room - seeing that it was empty. Having a kagune going around my arm, I had stopped before entering the living room. Without smelling the air, I had attacked the person who was on my couch.
"(Y-Y-Y/n)-chan!" Looking down, I had saw Haise looking at me, shocked to see that he entered my apartment.
"Haise..? What are you doing here?" I asked, making my kagune disappear. "How did you get into my apartment?"
"T-Takara-chan had let me in.. I'm sorry about entering your house.." Haise answered. Sighing, I had closed my eyes to let it turn back into its original colored orbs. "How is she?"
"She's fine, for now.." Getting up, I had walked towards the kitchen, secretly getting the picture of Kaneki and I together. "Takara, come say hi to Haise." I called out, hearing my child's laughter fill the space.
"Papa!"
"Takara-chan!" Hiding the framed picture, I walked in on Takara and Haise playing. I couldn't help but painfully smile.
(Y/n)-sama.. Please stop smiling like that..
My eyes widened from the voice. Looking around, I was confused with what just happened. Was that his voice..? Shaking my head, I had sat down on the couch as Haise and Takara were on the floor. Kaneki's gone.. There's nothing to it.. Ignore it..
"(Y/n)-chan, I hope you don't mind me being her 'father'. After what you told me, I knew that I had to do something." Haise confessed, looking at me.
I couldn't help but blush. I looked away and nodded. "That's fine.. You better explain yourself when she's older." I stated. He just chuckled and nodded.
"Maman!"
Out of instinct, I had taken out a pair of quinque guns and aimed for the short girl - my back being bent as the pistols aimed at her chest. Her hair was a light pale blue, having pigtails and uneven bangs. She seemed like a child, but I wasn't fooled. Knowing that I shouldn't judge by a book by its cover due to my new job as an investigator.
"(Y/n)-chan, you can lower the guns.. That's Yonebayashi Saiko-chan. She's apart of my squad." Haise told me, his hand holding onto my own.
Listening to him, I had put the guns back into the couch and looked down. "Sorry, Saiko.. I'm just not used to people being in my apartment unannounced.." I stated, a bit of annoyance in my voice.
"It's okay, (L/n)-san."
Looking at my right, I scratched my cheek. "There's no need to be so formal towards me. Just call me by my first name. Please." I smiled shyly, looking down.
"Hmm.. Okay, (Y/n)." Saiko mumbled softly. "Maman, we should get ready to train with (Y/n). Urie-kun is getting impatient outside."
"Thank you, Saiko-chan. We'll be there right now." Haise stated, having Saiko leave the living room.
