What We Do Now [Threequel to The Queen of Them]

Third Person POV

Unknown to what was happening, the CCG Investigators continued the Rosé operation. Multiple people and ghouls have dies in the process inside and outside of the Luna Eclipse building. It seems like that the CCG were gaining the upper hand.

But, on the rooftop of the Luna Eclipse, there were only two ghouls - Tsukiyama Shuu and Haise Sasaki. Haise had won their small fight, having his weapon hover over his neck as he pinned Tsukiyama down.

"What's the matter..? Kill me, Sasaki Haise." The purple haired man muttered aggressively. "You're strong, after all.."

Don't kill him.. The voice inside of Haise told him, causing the man to hesitate on the choice laid out on him.

The hesitation had caused the investigator to loose his arm. He screamed out in agony, unable to handle the pain he's in. A ghoul has walked towards the limb and picked it up. "Shut up, you gelded borg." Throwing the limb over the edge, Tsukiyama had gotten up and looked at the ghoul, knowing who is was.

"Kanae..? Is that you..?"

"Ja." Kanae had picked up Haise by his throat, holding him over the edge.. "Do you know why roses are so beautiful..? Because you pick them before they wither. I'm death, may you at least be a beautiful memory for Master Shu." Kicking Kanae's head off his body, Haise had moved away from him and saw how Kanae's regenerate. "For a second there, I blacked out.. What was that?"

Panting, Haise's breathing was becoming uneasy. "N-No.. It belongs to me.. It's my body.. All of it..is mine!" As his kagune moved on its own, he attacked Kanae repeatedly.

"I won't have the likes of you near Master Shu!"

The two continued attack one another in midair, Haise's kagune hitting Kanae first and for the last time, sending him towards the ground. Landing in front of Kanae, Haise was still unable to get a hold on his breathing as he was the mask off of his enemy's face. Haise was about to kill him off but was stopped by Tsukiyama grabbing his ankle.

"Kanae.."

"Master..Shu.."

"Stay away from him.."

No one had moved, meaning that Haise wasn't going in for the final blow. Everyone stayed silent, until the Owl had entered. Haise was sent towards the other side of the area, his body hitting the wall.

"Kaneki! Haise!" Laughing loudly, Eto had revealed herself. "That was just a poke in the forehead! Kisho Arima would've dodged it! Haise of Sasaki, you're just a glutton for getting hit, huh?~" Smirking, Eto looked down at Haise before holding onto Takara. "Look at who I have here, Haise! I have little Takara-chan!~"

Looking at Takara sleeping, Haise struggled to stand. W-What happened to (Y/n)-sama..? D-Did she die..? No, (Y/n)-sama puts Takara-chan safety first..

"Come, my little piddler, do a nice dance for Takara-chan and myself. Intense enough to shake loose that bladder. Come now, there's little time. You're about to die, after all. Let Master Shu watch you." Eto told Kanae, earning a reaction immediately. Attacking Haise relentlessly, Kanae was breaking his ribs and sending his body flying. Eto was chuckling as she watched, sitting down to see the action. "Very good. Watch closely Takara-chan, you will learn this very soon.~"

Haise was unable to do anything but let himself get hurt repeatedly. Mentally, he was fighting with himself, but eventually gave in, allowing Haise to no longer wanting to hide from who he is.

Cutting off Kanae's arm, Eto grabbed the limb while holding Takara. "My my.."

"Shut..the hell up!"
