(Y/n)'s POV

Kaneki just announced Goat.. I'm sure not a lot of ghouls that attended accepted it and probably left.. It's understandable, giving how things were before.. To protect both Takara and myself, Kaneki and I agreed that I stayed close to our daughter as much as possible. And if I need to fight, Touka would take her to safety - since Touka is Takara's godmother. We also agreed to no longer shield her from the reality of this world. As much as we both hate the idea, Takara needs to experience the reality of what we're trying to accomplish, along with understand that it's for everyone's sake - not just for us.

"Mama, we're meeting with Papa right now, right?" Takara asked.

I nodded, looking down at her as she was walking ahead of me. "We are, Takara. Now remember our deal, okay? You have to behave when we're with Papa because he's doing important work."

"I will Mama!" Takara stated, opening the door. "Papa!"

"Takara-chan." Smiling as our daughter ran towards him, Kaneki picked her up and held her by his waist. "How is my little Takara-chan doing?"

"I'm good Papa! But why do you have the eye patch? Are you a pirate?!"

"Papa is a pirate."

"Kaneki-sama, we said we wouldn't hide anything from her anymore." I stated, walking towards the two.

"Sorry, it's just a habit." Kaneki apologized. "Takara-chan, Papa hides his kakugan eye because he can't control it sometimes."

"You said that it's happened to me with Auntie Touka.. Is it a bad thing..?"

Patting her head, I sat down at the table. "For now, it's bad for other people to see it. But Mama and Papa are going to fix it." I smiled at her, causing her to smile back. Looking at the papers on the table, I looked at Kaneki. "You want me to stay here before the others come?"

"I'm fine with you two staying, since your with Takara-chan. Besides, you're also a part of Goat, so you should be here." Kaneki stated.

"Fair point."

Both of us were looking at the documents on the table before the door was slammed open, causing Takara to hold onto Kaneki tightly. I looked to my left to see that it was Naki and his men.

"Naki-san.." Kaneki muttered.

Immediately, Naki started to attack Kaneki - who was still holding onto Takara. "Mama! Papa!" Takara cried. My instincts got the best of me as I felt my eyes turned into a kakugan, using my strength to push Naki away from from them before he can hurt Takara.

"Try that again while he holds my daughter and I'll kill you." I growled.

"Mama.. Your kakugans.."

"Stop that, Naki!" A girl with pink hair yelled out.

"Shut up! I have to make him pay!" Naki yelled out, silencing his ally. "I heard that they're the ones who kill Boss God, but it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't there! Kaneki, I'll kill you!"

Kaneki carefully gave me Takara - who was shaking in fear - and walked towards Naki. "Are you saying you can't work with us in Goat?" Kaneki asked.

"Teaming up with the bastards that killed our boss - that's not really our style!"

"Naki-san, what do I have to do to get you to follow me? (Y/n)-sama isn't the one that created this organization, it was me. Please leave both her and our daughter out of it."

Taking off his coat, Naki glared at Kaneki. "The Thirteenth-Ward way is simple." He cracked his finger like Jason would and summoned his kagune. "The strongest guy is at the top." Immediately, he showed us his kakugan eyes.
