Elizabeth was sitting in a quiet little cafe sipping on her latte while she waited for a man named Jason Crouse. She had spoken to him on the phone about a job and he had agreed to meet her for more information. He had been recommended to her by her family lawyer Alicia Florrick, apparently he was very good at what he did.
She was caught off guard when a rather good looking man approached her table. He was dressed in all black, with a woolen hat and thick rimmed glasses on his handsome face. He smiled charmingly showing off his dimples and she felt her cheeks flush.
"Elizabeth?" He asked. His voice... Oh god his voice was deep and oh so sexy.
"Uh yeah... yeah that's me" she replied quickly as she shook his hand. "Please take a seat".
"So you have a job for me?"
"I do... I hear you're the best" she smiled.
"Really? Who told you that?"
"Alicia Florrick. She said you do a bit of work for her".
"I do. So how do you know Alicia?"
"She's been my families lawyer for years" she told him. "How long have you worked for her?"
"Not long. A few weeks. I'm freelance, so I go wherever the work is" he smiled. "So what is it that you want from me?" He grinned charmingly.
Oh there is plenty of things J want from you she thought to herself.
"I'd like you to find someone" she told him.
"Okay. Who?"
"My father".
"Right. So what information do you have on him?"
"Not a lot I'm afraid. His name is John McCreery. When I was 1 and a half he just dropped off the face of the earth according to my Mother. I don't even remember him" she said sadly. "All I have are these old photos" she said as she handed him a couple of worn photographs. One was of her mother and father before she was bon. The other was her father holding her at 6 months old.
"Alright. This helps" he smiled. "No last known address?"
"Nothing... sorry. I know it's not much to go on. My Mum would never tell me anything about him. When I got older and wanted to look for him she made me promise not to... she never said why, but she seemed really upset about it so I respected her wishes. But now that Mum is gone... I need some answers. I need that closure".
"I will see what I can dig up. You're happy with my hourly rate?"
"Yes".
"Do you want to put a cap on my hours?"
"No just do whatever it takes".
"Sure. What was your mother's name?"
"Maria Sullivan".
"Your parents didn't marry?"
"Not that I know of" she told him.
"Do you go by McCreery or Sullivan?"
"Sullivan"
"Okay then. I'll be in touch Elizabeth Sullivan" he smiled before getting up to leave.
"Thank you Jason... please call me Ellie".
"You can thank me when I find him for you Ellie" he smiled, and with that he disappeared out the door and down the street.

A few days later Jason called and arranged to meet her at the same cafe to tell her what he had discovered so far. When she entered she found him already waiting for her.
