A Thoughtful Gift

Ellie unwrapped the present, only to find that it was also covered in bubble wrap. After removing that layer too she lifted it up to examine it.

It was a large frame that held three separate pictures. Each one was a beautiful photo of the night sky. Laying in bed one night with the curtains open they'd had a discussion about how beautiful the stars were and talked about the vastness of space. "Jason... these are beautiful". She smiled as she kissed him. "I'm definitely hanging this here in my bedroom".

Ellie kissed him deeply and passionately until she needed to break away for air. Admiring the pictures again, she spotted the small date printed at the bottom of each photo. They were all taken in the last few months.

"What are the dates on here?" She asked.

"Each photo was taken on an important day" he told her. "This first one, this was the night sky above the city on the day that we met" he smiled. "The second photo, that was when we spent our first night together after our road trip to find your father and I held you in my arms all night".

"Jason... you are so sweet" Ellie gushed as she kissed him. "What about the last one?" She asked.

"The third one?... Well..." he began as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously before removing his glasses, making her heart skip a beat in her chest. "That one was four days ago, our first night apart since we got together" he explained and she looked at him curiously wondering why he had picked that date. "That was the day I realised that I'm in love with you" he explained.

Ellie looked at him in shock for a moment. She didn't expect those words to come out of his mouth but she couldn't have been happier about it. "You're... you're in love with me?"

"Yeah" he replied seriously with a nod.

"Jason... I'm in love with you too" she grinned.

He breathed out a sigh of relief. "You are?"

"Ahuh" she giggled. "Being away from you these last few days has been torture. I missed you so much, it's like I can't even remember what it was like to be without you" she confessed. "And I never want to be without you if I can help it".

"I don't want to be without you either Ellie. You are everything I've ever wanted" he told her. "I had considered booking a fancy restaurant for dinner, but then I had a better idea".

"What's that?"

"You... me... this bed and lots and lots of sex" he grinned devilishly.

"You're right. That is a better idea" she smiled as she placed the picture frame on her dresser. "Get naked Mr Crouse" she giggled.

"Yes Ma'am" he laughed as he stood up and began to strip his jacket, followed by his shirt until he stood before her in only his pants.

"How the hell do you look so good" she smiled as her eyes roamed over his body. He laughed shyly and shrugged his shoulders before starting to unbuckled his belt.

"Uh uh... nope" Ellie said as she stopped him.

"You told me to get naked" he pouted.

"I know... but I want to unwrap my present" she grinned as she undid his belt and unzipped his jeans, making him chuckle. Pushing his pants down his slender legs he stepped out of them and grabbed Ellie up in his arms falling back onto the bed with her on top of him making her giggle.

"I love it when you laugh".

"You always know how to make me happy".

"That I do... speaking of" he grinned as he rolled them over and pinned her beneath him. "I'd like to make you very very happy" he winked as he crawled his way down the bed and made short work of removing her pants and her underwear. Quickly followed by her blouse and bra.

"Delicious" Jason smiled as he looked her over, his erection very evident beneath the fabric of his boxers.

"Good girl" Jason cooed as he thrust a few more times before pulling out, chuckling at the way Ellie whimpered from the loss of contact. They lay together in a tangled heap of sweaty limbs as they tried to catch their breath.

"Happy Birthday Ellie" he whispered as he kissed her forehead. "I love you Sweetheart".

"I love you too Jason" she smiled contently.
