Prologue

"Oh, brother!" My younger sister, Mika popped into my doorway, her white and black eyes twinkling with mischief. "You're being summoned."

I rolled my eyes but headed down the extravagantly oversized staircase, I stepped into the throne room. My father, perched per usual on his throne stared at me.
   Kuro," I looked into my father's frowning eyes. "You're the eldest of your siblings, yet they both found their mate before you. Why's that?" I shrugged. "Your father is having a damn hissing fit over the lack of grandchildren from you. I'm sending you to earth with the hope you find your mate there." He snapped, and my luggage and money were there next to me. "Good luck, son. Don't forget to call us, and remember, " his stern face lightened. "We love you." The next thing I know, I'm standing in the middle of a hotel room. "Well, this is a good place to start, I guess."
