Chapter 1 - Looking into her life

Meet Sophie. She is an angel wolf living with her family in the small town: ToonTown. She has a loving yet tough father named Diablo, a hellhound. He holds certain abilities the a normal hellhound would. Claws that leave a deep cut feeling like fire burning you and a bite so painful it feels like lava. He may be a hellhound but has a kind heart deep within. She also has a fun-loving younger brother named Daniel who is the only normal wolf in the family. Unlike Daniel And Diablo, Sophie and her mother, Delilah, are both angel wolves. They had the pure white wings, healing magic, and a good hearted spirit. You may be wondering, how would an angel wolf and a hellhound have a normal wolf for a child. Well, if two of the different types mate, they have a small chance of having a completely normal wolf child. That's why Daniel is the only normal wolf in the family. They lived in a thick part of the woods near to the main part of the town and they were perfectly happy with that. Many of the people and other species in the town grew wary whenever one of them came into town. Sure, Sophie and Daniel went to school but they were still feared by the students. They learned to except that the people in their town feared them and just took it to their advantage. They were a perfect family, happily living in the woods where there where few people living there... that is until things went way down hill very fast...

A disease. A disease called the Ink Illness spread to about half the population in the town. Delilah unfortunately was caught in the dark hands of the illness. It hit her hard with every attack she had because the disease is considered the devil's work. Her wings turned black and slowly carried onto her white fluffy fur, like a decaying flower. Delilah had to be isolated due to the disease being very contagious to Sophie but no one wanted to take any chances, so Daniel had to stay away too. Diablo took care of her the best he could with little knowledge of the disease. She eventually had to be hospitalized but she refused any treatment. She believed her time has come and not to change her fate. Diablo tried to get her to accept the treatment but couldn't force her to do anything.

She later died that night and the whole family was devastated, especially Diablo. Daniel didn't understand why his mom 'left' their world but thought it had something to do with angel wolf culture. Delilah was Diablo's whole world, his hopes and dreams, she's what kept his sanity at bay. Diablo had a history of sanity loss due to being threatened by humans and being anxious and paranoid all the time before the family started. He still loved Sophie and Daniel, but something in Delilah calmed him down and returned his sanity. After she died, he slowly went insane, but he tried to stay strong for the rest of his family. He fought a tough battle and even tried doing more things with Sophie and Daniel. It didn't last long however, he knew that sooner or later he would lose it. It didn't want anything bad to happen to the only family he had left.

He started training them to be more independent and tried to help them with living on their own. They didn't know the reason behind it but they didn't want to question anything incase it was a touchy subject or if it had something to do with their mother. He didn't last long enough though. He couldn't live long enough not to hurt everyone and everything around him...
