She felt some way. Some weird way, it was something she never felt before. She then sat down at a picnic table and ate thinking about Star and what she really felt.

Once Sophie and Daniel were done with breakfast they went to chill in a nearby field. Since it was a Saturday, they didn't have to worry about the group of nerds who would come around there to finish homework or school projects. Once they got there, Sophie called up Boris and Mugs on a nearby payphone to hang out. As she finished the call, she went to go put her coins away, but then remembered Star. She blushed a bit at the thought of her smile or how her hair framed her face perfectly. She got interrupted by her thoughts when she felt water on her white pelt. She looked up to see Daniel playing around a shallow part of a lake that was near the said field.
"Haha! Don't go too far out!" She yelled with a bit of concern and humor in her call. He nodded and went back to chasing the small fish that were in the water. She watched him play while she was sunbathing with her wings spread out. She closed her eyes once she found the perfect spot...that was before she felt the coldness of a shadow looming above her. Her eyes quickly yet lazily opened. She felt a bit surprised and startled but she calmed down after seeing who it was.
"Hey there fluffball!" "Hi Sophie" Mugs and Boris said.
Sophie's tail wagged as Daniel raced over to meet them. They both backed up before being tackled by the small wolf. Surprisingly he felt safe and happy whenever he was with the three. He would normally feel awkward or scared around other people or those who he isn't familiar with. Mugs started playing with him while Boris walked over to chat and hang out with Sophie.
[SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORT TIME SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP]
After a while of just bein goofs, everyone was passed out in a large yet comfy pile. Star thought the park empty enough for her to take a peaceful walk. Only a few people still lingered around but not many. As she saw a small hidden path. It looked like someone tried to cover it with leaves but failed in some spots. She followed the path through a few shrubs and found herself in a large clearing with a river and a few trees with a larger tree closest the river. She then spotted the large pile of toons underneath the larger tree. They seem to be asleep but she-
'Wait, aren't those the wolves from earlier?'
She thought seeing the same familiar colors and fur markings. She finally second guessed everything and turned back to leave before anyone could spot her leaving. That is until...
SNAP!
She ended up tripping on a large branch near the pathway and in the process, she snapped it. Her heart dropped and tried to stand back up but whenever she did, a sharp pain hit her ankle. Well, the snap was enough to wake up the smaller wolf. Daniel's ear twitched as he heard the sound and looked around for the source. He later saw two lime colored orbs staring at him at the entrance of the pathway. His ears lowered and quickly laid low in the pile of sleeping toons. Daniel tried to wake up Sophie, then Boris, then Mugs but it was no use. They had been running and playing for hours and they were out cold. He heard some shuffling in the grass and saw her crawling her way to a nearby stump that was at the halfway point between them and the pathway. He peeked out a little bit, with ears up in curiosity, to see what she was doing or if she was injured in some way.
"Hello again" She said with a tired and pained smile.
He shrunk back down in the pile and thought of what to do. Diablo had trained him if he was ever stuck in a similar situation like this but he was afraid to follow his fathers advice. He tried one last time to wake up someone but instead he found a piece of paper and a marker in her pockets.
'Maybe I can write instead?'
He had little knowledge of humans but because some wolves knew other just based on their voices instead of looks, he thought maybe he was smart to write instead of talk. He started writing in the smallest print he can write that could still be read. Daniel then slowly and cautiously moved out from the pile and placed the note somewhat close enough for her to reach it.
She read, 'Hi. I remember you. Please don't hurt us.'
She was confused but then realized that's why he was so cautious around her. She looked back over at him to find him quickly rolling over the marker before hiding back in the sleeping toon pile. She started writing back to him and placed the paper and marker closer to him.
He picked it up and read, 'I would never any hurt you. I remember you too.'
He let out a small yip and she smiled knowing that she made him a bit more comfortable. He started writing again and was about to go give it to her but a white fur paw grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him back. Sophie was now awake due to Daniel's tail itching her nose and that yip didn't help. Robyn immediately felt nervous again and tries to back away. Sophie noticed this and asked her in a stern and serious voice,
"Why did you come here? What do you plan on doing with us? Leave or face pain."
Robyn then felt that same sharp pain in her ankle when attempting to back away and held her ankle in pain. Sophie then realized why she wouldn't run. "O-Oh wait, are you hurt?" She asked more softly and her expression softened. Robyn nodded her head. Sophie then sat down by her and asked to take a look at her ankle. Robyn nervously showed her. Didn't seemed to be broken, just sprained. "It just seems strained but i can help with that. Just stretch your leg out straight." Robyn did as told and Sophie's paws was then surrounded in a green aura and hovered them over Robyn's ankle. Healing Magic. As soon as she was done, Robyn tested out to see if the healing magic helped and it did! She could finally stand up again! "Thank you so much Sophie!" Sophie was surprised she remembered her name but gave a small smile before saying sheepishly, "Heh, y-you're welcome! I-I'm sorry for earlier... I shouldn't have been so aggressive..." Robyn finally realized what Daniel meant earlier. They probably didn't trust anyone but what seemed like the four of them. "It's okay. I kinda see where you are coming from. You don't fully trust me, do you." Robyn said putting on that sweet smile and speaking softly. Sophie's cheeks dusted with blush from embarrassment and said, "I... I'm sorry but I don't. You seem like a very kind person but until I get to know you better, I don't fully trust you." Her ears lowered and looked away sadly. Robyn then lifted her chin up and said in a cheery and kind voice, "That's alright! Maybe I can change that friend!" She gave a closed eyed smile and Sophie face turned a bit more pink and her heart stopped for a split second. She did her best to hide it but Daniel noticed and chuckled to himself a little.
'D-Did she call me... F-Friend?' "That's alright! Maybe I can change that friend!"
......................................
That word lingered in Sophie's mind as Robyn and Daniel were laughing at her embarrassed state..
'I-Is this w-what 'kindness' feels like...?'
