You Finally Noticed

V. One wrong move, and she'll die

One afternoon...

I decided to follow nerdy until she got home. I am with her since we left our classroom but she never look back.

I have no clue why I'm following her but my feet is bringing me to where she was going. It was kinda insane but I feel like I was about to discover something about her today.

She seemed so unaware with her surroundings. I'm wondering what was she's thinking. I guess she's so lost with her deep thoughts.

I stopped when she entered in a cafe.

Why did she go there?

The view inside the cafe is visible here outside so you can definitely see what's going on inside.

I was surprised when she go inside the staff room.

I stood ouside and waited for her to come out.

I saw her wearing the cafe's uniform when she came out. She put her aprons on and tied her hair in a bun. Someone handed her a pen and a paper that looks like an order list.

She started to greet the customers coming with a wide smile in her lips. The smile I never saw inside the school.

So it means she's working.

She's doing all the chores inside the cafe if ever she had a chance. I saw her taking the customers orders and sometimes she is the cashier. I saw her giving the customers orders while balancing a tray of drinks on her one hand.

I kept on standing there while watching her. This is the longest time I saw her smiling. The customers are nice with her also. Maybe they already know her. She looks so happy in her job.

When her shift finally ended, she wiped all the tables and fixed all the things inside the cafe. She pulled a chair in front of her and sit. She looks so tired.

I took a glance at my wristwatch. It reads 9:15 P.M.

When our class ended at 4:00 P.M. she will go directly at this cafe because of her work. Her shift will end exactly at 9:00 P.M but because of the excess jobs, she need to stay here for at least 15 minutes to fix it all.

Now, I know.

I followed her again as she walked out of the cafe. She's only walking home. She's not even having a transportation from school to cafe and cafe to her house. It must be hard for her.

I keep on following her until she reached a two-storey house.

The house looks fine... so this is where she lives.

She was about to enter the door but a flying shoes blocks her way. And there, it reveals a man and a woman fighting. I saw her poker face as she eyed the two people arguing.

She sighed and soon I found her stopping the woman to attack the man with a wood. She's doing her best to stop them.

After a few seconds, the woman dragged nerdy inside while the man is left outside their house.

How unlucky nerdy is.... now I know what's the reason behind her heavy sobs.

Family Problem.

I agreed to make fun of nerdy but I didn't expect things can be worser.

These days... I'm just observing her.

How would she feel if no one is disturbing her?
