I took a brief glance at my watch. I've been here for 30 minutes and he's still not here.

Did he forgot about today?

No, I don't think so. I know him. He won't make me wait for too long. I just need to be patient.

I'm standing here at the bridge, staring at the water below.

The weather is not quite good for today, just like yesterday.

I think it will rain again.

I keep on waiting and looking at the time. I can almost count all the times when people were passing by... but he's still not here.

I took a glance at my watch again. I realized I was waiting here for an hour.

I decided to take a walk back and forth.

I looked lost. People might think that I'm out of my mind.

When I'm tired, I went back at my position earlier.

I stared at the water again and noticed that there are raindrops falling down already.

Oh no! I don't bring any umbrella.

I can't leave. What if he comes?

Five more minutes...

I'm still standing here and waiting for him.

The rain started to fall and five minutes had already passed.

Ten more minutes...

I'm totally damp now because of the rain.

People who were passing by is staring at me with the look on their eyes saying 'she should move out and find a place to shelter with.'

But I don't care.

I know he will come and keep his promise. He has something to say and so do I.

"I won't give up." I said to myself as I placed my hands at my cold arms.

I'm shivering now but the rain has the same determination as mine. It won't quit. The rain kept on pouring and I kept on waiting.

Two hours had passed and I'm totally not feeling well now.

I think I will pass out in any moment.

He's still not here.

There are thousands of questions running in my mind.

What if something bad happened to him?

Emergency?

Or... Did he forget?

I can't do this anymore.

I decided to walk and went back home.

I sighed deeply once I entered our house door.

Water is dripping to the floor, coming from my wet clothes.

"You went out without bringing any umbrella. Mina, are you insane?" My mom said, half yelling.

"Sorry..." Is all that I managed to say.

I walked past her, avoiding an argument.

I don't have the energy to argue with her.

I stopped because she grabbed my arms.

"Where did you go?" She asked.

"Mom, I want to rest." I said.

"Just answer." She demanded.

"I went over at my friend's house, the one who's working in the cafe." I lied.
