You Finally Noticed

XVII. Hallucinations

"If I say go, start to drive. If you'd reach the end point, hit the brake. Got it?" Joo Young instructed.

I nervously hit the clutch and the engine started.

"Do I really need to learn this?" I asked and he just nodded.

"Dont let your fear eat you up! You can do it. Trust me." He said.

The sound of the engine blasting in my ears is urging me to go so I started to drive.

It's my first time to ride a motorcycle. Joo Young said that I need to learn how to ride this thing so I can go with myself anywhere and anytime without him.

A smile formed on my lips as I manage to drive farther. Joo Young is out of sight as I look back.

It's amazing! I feel like this road is endless and I dont want to stop.

The rush feeling of this ride is giving me thrills.

I am enjoying the ride but the thought of Wonwoo suddenly appears in my mind again.

"Dont do this Mina..."

I gasped.

Am I hallucinating again?

"This is not right. So please stop....."

His voice continued to play in my mind. I tried to brush it off as I closed my eyes.

"Dont hurt yourself because in the end you'll only regret everything."

"STOP!!!" I screamed as I shook my head.

"I never leave your side....Never."

My thoughts are bugging me. I dont know how to erase his memories with me. It's like, if I do anything new, he'll suddenly show up and remind me to stop.

"Why cant you just leave me?!" I shout as I tried to face the voice that is hunting me.

"You already left me!!!" I shout again, hoping that if he heard it, he'll stop.

Im trying to be strong but I think the strength I have is still not enough. The tears forming in the corner of my eyes is a proof that I still cant.

I decided to hit the brake just like what Joo Young said. I wanted to stop from here even though Im still far away to the endpoint.

I expected it to stop but it still hadn't.

Why isn't it working?

I started to panick as I hit repeatedly the brake but shoot! It is still running.

"JOO YOUNG!!!" I called out.

He heard it. He was saying something but I couldn't hear it.

I am starting to lose my balance and I couldn't think straight. I am so much nervous to hear him out.

I looked back as my breath hitch.

"HIT THE BRAKE!!!" He shout out loud.

I tried again but it wont stop. My balance is now swerving from left to right. I really dont know what to do so I jump off, out to the motorcycle.

I stumble in my way. The force is just too strong that I cant stop myself from rolling.

I rolled and rolled.

"Aaaaa..ww." I groaned. I feel my head spinning. I tried to open my eyes but I cant see anything clear.

I'm so dizzy that I want to throw up.
