Zane and i have been hanging out more lately and I'm a bit shy about it sometimes. We had a lot in comment. My stitches are healed, dad had a doctor to remove out the threads.

Since i can't cut anymore, it's become a habit not to cut and Zane has also stopped, he made me feel like I'm not the only one.

We're at the bleachers doing our homework. Also, Lesley's here, which is boring cause she sitting between us and i really want to hold Zane's hand.

Don't ask why. It's just that his hands are soft.

" hey sis " Xavier appeared.

" what? " she asked coldly.

" Derek's calling us " he said and walk away, Lesley gets up and follows him.

" I'm a little bit suspicious about them " Zane said.

" me too " i said.

" Y/n! " someone calls.

I turn and see Mariko with his brother Sasuke coming towards us.

" hey Mariko, haven't seen you guys in a while " i said.

" what's up? " i asked.

" there's this music competition going on and she wants you to be in it " Sasuke said.

" Oni~chan! " she scolds.

" what? " i asked.

" it's a thing you call brother in Japanese as in respect " Sasuke said.

" i heard your singing 2 days ago and i was thinking you could, you know. . . . .join me? " she asked.

" please?, for me? " she pleads with her eyes enlarge and there was stars sparkling.

" fiiine " i sighed.

" yay!, see you in my dorm later at 5, my dorm is 218 " she said and left dragging Sasuke awake.

" you really wanna join? " Zane asked.

" she looks like she really wants it " i said.

" but i thought you have stage fright " he said.

I then realized that.

" oh shit–Mariko wait! " i grab my bag.

" see you later in class Zane! " i said and gave him a peck on his cheek.

I saw a tint of pink appeared above his masked a bit.

" Mariko! " i scream and i see her continuing to skip away as she grips her brother's wrist while he can't keep up with her then ended up falling face flat to the hard ground and getting dragged by her.

I ended up being in the competition.

" can you rap? " Mariko asked.

" i told you no!, i have a fucking stage fright! " i said for the hundredth time.

" I'd say that's a yes " she said.

She's so stubborn.

" alright then it's settled, you'll sing the pre-chorus, verse, chorus, and bridge " she said.

" wait, that's all the parts, what are you going to sing? " i asked.

" oh Oni~chan and i are doing the beats for you sweetie " she said.

" what?!, you didn't told me that! " i exclaimed.

" sorry but your name is already registered " she said.

" Mariko! " i exclaimed, she wrote something down on her note book she has in her hand.

" Mariko, you told me we're doing this together " i said.

" we are, Oni~chan and i help you with the beats for the background and you sing, doesn't that count as together? " she asked.

" no it doesn't " i said.

" that's what i said last time " Sasuke said and put on his headphones.

" come on, everyone's going to be there " she said, my eyes widened.

" everyone meaning everyone in this school?! " i asked, she nods as she hummed in respond.

" even the teachers " she said, my jaw dropped.

" what song are we singing? " i asked.

" i can't hit that note, it's too high " i said.

" honey practice makes perfect you'll do well, it's in the next 3 days, so be ready bye bye! " she pushes me out of her dorm.

I breathe out in disbelief as she slams the door behind me. If she meant everyone doesn't that mean dad's going to be there with Aaron?!, and in 3 days, this girl is insane.

" your fucked " Zane said.

" your not helping! " i said, he shrugs.

" what am i suppose to do? " he asked.

I groan in frustration as i flop backwards on my bed.

" well, maybe just pretend that nobody's there " he said.

I lifted my head looking at him with a 'really' expression.

" i said 'maybe' " he quotes.

" whatever " i sigh as i lie my head back down.

" so what song are you singing? " he asked.

" can you even hit the high note? " he asked.

Sorry, it's a short chapter but i can't promise that i will make a longer chapter tomorrow, but we'll have to see.
