I had woken up with a massive headache, but I was excited because they were letting me go home. They said that there was no reason to keep me much longer as long as I was on strict bed rest for a little bit because of my ribs and concussion. My wrist, I just had to be careful with.

"Ready, sweetie?" My dad said as the nurse pushed me in my wheelchair towards my dad's car. I slowly stood up and got into the passenger's seat. My dad closed the door and headed to the driver's seat.

It was about a 20-minute drive from the hospital to our home. When we arrived I got out and immediately headed to my room and sat down on my bed. My dad walked in shortly after and sat my bag on the floor. He stood at the door frame with an expression like he wanted to say something,

"What is it, dad?" I asked.

He softly sighed. "I'm just sorry, sweetie." I looked at him confused. "I should've known from the beginning that he wasn't worth your time." With that, he walked out of the room shutting the door behind him.

I knew he was talking about Tyler. I sighed glancing towards the balcony. The doors were shut but I could still see outside. His curtains were shut, but I knew he was in there because I saw his lights on.

A part of me wanted him to throw something at my door to get my attention or send me a "Hey beautiful" text, but I also knew I couldn't talk to him right now. I had stayed up almost all night thinking about what he had said at my bedside when he thought I was sleeping. I knew he had meant every word he said, but I also knew that he still hurt me. He may love me, but he still deserves to hurt for a little bit because of the pain he had caused me.

I stood up and grabbed some PJs from my closet and changed into them. I was too tired for a shower. I slowly crawled into bed and shut off my light. Soon I had drifted off to sleep.

~~~
I woke up to my phone buzzing. I grabbed it to see that it was Ivy calling. I pressed answer and put it up to my ear laying back down.
"Hey," I whispered.
"Oh my god, you're okay!"
"Ivy, I'm fine."
"Your dad called me last night, but he told me to wait till you got home to call you."
"Yeah, I got home a couple hours ago."
"I miss you, so much. I wish I was there with you."
I smiled. "I miss you, too, goobey."
"Good because I'm already here." That voice wasn't coming from the phone. I looked up towards the door to see Ivy standing there with a smile.
"Oh my god!" I yelled, quickly getting up to hug her.
She instantly wrapped her arms around me, but not too tight because of my ribs. After a few seconds, she released me and we sat on my bed.
"When did you get here?" I asked.
"A couple minutes ago. Jackson arranged for me to come here to see you. He thought you could use some cheering up."
I smiled. "I'm really glad you're here."
She sat in silence for a minute before looking at me with a saddened smile. "You want to talk about it?" I knew she was talking about Tyler.
"Not really."
"Well, whenever you're ready, I'll be here to talk."
"How long are you staying?"
"I leave Wednesday. I have a stupid test in Ms. Evie's class." She rolled her eyes and we laughed.
"God, I don't miss her."
For the rest of the day, we just talked and caught up. Around 5 pm, Grace and Sierra came over and brought me candy as a 'get well' present. I was still upset with them for not telling me that they knew, but in Grace's defense;
She did tell me so.
~~~

Because of my injuries, I had to stay home for the week. My teachers had sent me work but gave me a lot of extra time because they knew I wasn't supposed to be working too hard on schoolwork with a concussion.

Ivy and I did nothing but watch movies, gossip, and eat a bunch of junk food. Grace, Sierra, and Ivy became a lot closer since they came over every day after school to hang out with me. I forgave them over time because they said they didn't want to tell me because they knew Tyler really did care about me.

Grace had finally told me that the look she gave Tyler that day was because she knew. They had later talked to each other about it and Tyler had admitted about it to her but told her that as soon as it was over, he was still going to be with me because he really loved me and didn't want to hurt me.

When she had told me that, I realized that maybe I should talk to Tyler, but a part of me knew I just wasn't ready.

Currently, it was Friday night, and Grace and Sierra were at my house watching movies.

I could feel Grace's eyes on me so I looked back at her. "What?"

She waited a second before responding. "Have you thought about talking to Tyler?"

I sighed. "I've thought about it."

"And?"

"I don't know. I just don't think I'm ready to talk to him yet."

"I think you should. He's been a mess since that night. Every time I see him at school, he looks worse and worse. He barely eats or gets sleep. I tried talking to him, but he won't really say anything. I caught him crying in class Wednesday. He's a wreck, Willow."

"Maybe he deserves it." She gave me a look.

"He loves you."

"How come all of a sudden you want us together." I laughed. "Wasn't it you who said you hated him and he was no good for me."

She smiled. "That was until I saw how much he actually cared about you."

"Okay..." I paused. "I'll talk to him on Monday."

I have to go back to school on Monday, so it'll be a perfect time to talk to him.

Hopefully, it goes well.
