Tears slipped from my eyes as I stared down at the stick that changed my life in a second. Those 2 lines stared back at me.

I felt threatened.

Scared.

"Willow, are you okay?"

Naomi's voice startled me as I sat on the cold bathroom floor.

"Willow! I know you're in there!" The rattling of the doorknob filled my ears, but I didn't move. "Willow, open the door, now!"

I looked back down at my hands that held my new future.

"Willow, are you okay? What's going on?"

No. I wasn't okay.

I was scared.

Suddenly, the banging became louder and louder as her fist pounded against the wood.

"Willow, open now!" Her voice shook. She was scared.

All of a sudden the door flew open with force and she fell towards me and grabbed me. He hands flew to every inch of me checking for any harm but found nothing. All she found was my tear-stained cheeks and a stick in my trembling hands.

She softly gasped. "Oh, Willow."

She didn't say anything else. She removed the stick from my hands and pulled me into her arms.

I just sobbed. I just shook.

This was not a moment I planned for.

~~~
I took a shaky breath as I picked up my phone from my bedside table.
I hadn't moved from my bed for over an hour. Naomi had brought me to my bed after holding me for who knows how long. She told me to sleep, but I couldn't with every running through my head.
I knew I had to tell Tyler.
My fingers dialed the familiar numbers and when the ringtone began I brought my shaking hands up to my ears waiting for his voice to appear.
On the third ring, it did.
"Hey, babe. What's up?" His voice, alone, brought tears back to my puffy eyes. "Babe? Hello?"
A shaky breath exhaled. "Tyler..." I didn't know what to say.
"Willow, what's wrong?" More tears fell. "What's wrong?" He repeated.
"I..." I took a deep breath. "I need to tell you something."
"Babe, you're crying. What happened?" You could tell by his voice he was worried. He was scared. Scared that something had happened to me.
Something did happen to me. But, how do I tell you?
"Babe, what's wrong? You know you can tell me anything." His voice was so soft. So calming.
"I know," I whispered.
"So tell me what's going on."
I sobbed. What if this is what ends us. I know deep down, Tyler wouldn't leave me over this, but what do I actually know? He's never found out something serious like this before.
"Willow, please."
"I'm pregnant." I spit out. It tasted foreign. Unheard of. Not right.
His silence scared me and before I could speak again the line went dead.
I sat frozen. I slowly pulled the phone away from my ear and looked at the screen.
He hung up.
