We had went to school after Liam had found his powers. He was able to control them better on his second day. School week went by fast, but we had a lot of missed work to do. Luckily I knew the stuff and was passing all my classes. I don't know about Liam, though.

"Liam, why is your science homework in the bathroom?" I asked, entering the kitchen with his homework in hand. I slid the paper in front of him, raising my eyebrows.

"Oh, yeah. That," he forced out a chuckle. "I have no idea. I was actually looking for that. Thanks baby girl."

I bit my bottom lip to keep from smiling, narrowing my eyes at him. He knows about my weakness. "You have to pass all your classes in order to go to college. Besides, no one wants an uneducated Alpha." I walked up to the fridge, grabbing some cereal. Its just cereal. In the afternoon. No one said I couldn't have cereal in the afternoon. Its not a rule or a law.

Wow. I talk to myself a lot.

"Hey!" Liam started protesting. "I am smart. I just choose not to do my work. I mean, I may have the awesome looks, but I also have the brains, unlike those stereotypical jock you be reading in books."

I chuckled, rolling my eyes. "I know you're smart. Just do your work for the teachers' sake. And why do you claim yourself as one with awesome looks?"

"Don't deny it. I am awesome, not trying to sound conceited." He playfully glared at me, sliding off his seat. He started stalking towards me as I discreetly took my cereal bowl to the other end of the island.

"Not trying? You are failing miserably, buddy."

"Whatever, I am confident in my awesome body. And you know you like it." He grinned at me.

"Me? When did I ever say that? I may think you are on steroids or maybe even fat." By now, I was done with my cereal and was making my way towards the living room. He better stop stalking towards me.

He put his hand over his heart, mocking hurt. "You think I'm fat?"

"I didn't even say that."

"Whatever. But you can't deny that my body is awesome." He leaned back against the island, elbows resting beside him.

"Maybe I can," I said, crossing my arms. My eye were checking him out very discreetly from my peripheral vision. His white tank made his chest look broad. His tan skin glowing under the available sun coming from the kitchen window. His piercing green eyes bore into me, making my knees weak. He really does look amazing. But I want to see how far we can take this.

"Maybe. But I can see in your eyes that you think I'm hot," he smirked.

Was he reading my mind? "No I don't."

"Liar," he sang.

"Prove it. Maybe I was comparing you to Leo. Maybe my eyes were saying Leo had a smokin' hot body." That was such a lie. Though Leo did have a nice body, but not as drool worthy as Liams'. So hands down, Liam had the best abs in the universe.

He scowled, growling under his breath. Then in one quick motion, he was in front me and I was backed against the wall. I thought I was in front of the living room entrance. I looked from side to side, seeing the entrance to my far left. I guess my calculations were wrong. "He does not. You were checking him out, weren't you? Say I'm better than him. Better in every way," his voice became huskier with every word. It was so deep and rich, sounding so sexy on him. I just want to hear him say my name with it. Say Emaline. Just once. "Emaline," he said in the same husky voice. I frowned, I swear I said that in my head, or did I? Then I remembered that he was just waiting for an answer.
