"Li, your party has to be this weekend. We have been holding this event for too long."
He's right. I forgot how long it's been since I have arrived. I think it's been two weeks.
"Fine. Let's do it," I said. "But wait, who is going to prepare all the decorations and the food? Oh pooh. Guess we're not doing it," I said in mock disappointment.
Honestly, I don't want one at all. My mind is consumed with the new moon in fourteen days. And ever since after the full moon, Liam has been binging up the ceremony for me. To introduce me to the whole pack as their Luna and Protector.
I heard Liam sigh across the room. I looked up at him, seeing him continue to fill out business papers. I was laying down on his couch in his office while he finish his work.
Maybe I should let him do the ceremony. But what's the point? Almost everyone knows me. Maybe not as their protector, but as their Luna.
You know what? I should do the ceremony for Liam's sake.
"Where is it going to be held?"
He looked up from the papers and immediately smiled. "The pack hall of course. Saturday at six."
I raised an eyebrow at him. "You have all this prepared."
He shrugged. "I have been putting this off about a week or two. And for the past week or two, I have been making plans of my own for the event."
I smiled at him, getting up from the couch and walking over to him. Liam pushed his chair back, giving me room to sit on his lap.
"You are too adorable," I cooed to him, kissing his nose.
Liam scrunched up his nose and pouted. "What did I tell you about calling me 'adorable'? It's so unmanly."
I rolled my eyes and kissed his lips. "I don't think so. I think 'adorable' is a very awesome word."
"Mhmm. I guess it is. Only if you don't call me that in public."
"I promise, cutie." I laughed at him and ran out the door.
I heard him groan before I closed the door. I smiled to myself as I made my way to our room. I have to go shopping. It's been a while since I'd been gone shopping.
"Sil, Rai, Trin!" I called out. Luckily, Sil was visiting us today. Rebecca and Leanna had decided to go on a run and won't be back for another hour. Kolshi and her gang decided to take this time to chat with the pack members.
Girls night out!
'What?' said Rai.
I repeated my last thought to them.
'Well then, come on!' said Trin.
I changed into a pair of short shorts, black tank top, and my black combat boot. I grabbed my black shades along with my wallet, cell phone, and keys and stuffed them all into my pockets. I am ready to go.
I turned around to run out the door but found Liam leaning against the frame. With his card in hand. I groaned, taking the card and sliding it into my pocket along with my wallet.
He chuckled and kissed my cheeks. "I knew you were going shopping. Have fun with the girls. Oh, and the six members of the warriors are going to be your guards."
I nodded to him, kissed his lips and ran down the stairs.
"Love you too!" he called out.
I laughed, "I love you! And thanks!"
"Finally!" exclaimed Trinity as I got into the drivers seat of my car. I turned on the engine and drove out to the mall, only twenty minutes away. "You were taking forever." Trin sat in the back seat along with Sil while Rai rode in the from with me.
