It's been days since we've seen Trin on the night of the New Moon. All the pack members have been training harder- blood, sweat, and tears- with each passing day.

All throughout the pack, war is the only thing on our mind. School and work hasn't been the same since. I bet us teens are missing on a lot of work; we would most likely repeat the same grade. But right now, I don't give a damn, neither does my fellow classmates or pack members. Our parents are too shocked about the upcoming war to even care for anything except our safety.

Melvin also trains with us. And is in our pack.

Surprise!

He demanded me to turn into him into a were so he can fight against the Fae's. I was reluctant at first but I eventually gave in. Trinity was everything to him.

Melvin got the gist of being a wolf and began running and training with us. He would usually train in his copper wolf since his human was strong enough. His wolf was large, something that was unexpected. But then again, he was an athlete in high school.

Yeah... Did I mention he was college student? Well he is. And now he's taking his college courses on line. Irrelevant, I know.

"Make your left punches as strong as your right!" I shouted to Eden, my unlucky opponent of the day. He grunted as he punched again, harder. "That's it! Keep punching, don't stop!"

He kept attacking me as I blocked him with my shield, his only focus on trying to break the thin layer- thinner than I am used to- of the shield. I know it's not fair, but that's how I was trained by my teachers. His forehead trickled with sweat, his bare chest slowly rising and falling with each deep breath he takes. I know he's tired, but I have to test their limit. I could feel my shield weakening with each blow that he gives me. Internally, I smiled proudly at him. Not a lot of trainees have gone this far before.

"You're doing great!" I encouraged him. I didn't hide the proud smile this time.

He grunted, bringing his right fist out and punching it repeatedly at the crack. He's found the weak point. I have taught him well. I could feel my arms vibrating with each punch he sends. Then, with a growl and one final blow to the crack, my shield collapsed. Large chunks of the shield flew everywhere before disintegrating into thin air.

There was silence except for the labored breaths from Eden.

I turned to Eden and extended my hand out to him. He took it with his own bruised hand and held it.

"You did it," I grinned. "I am proud to call you a member of the Astrid Pack. You did something that was not possible to most wolves. All the training you've done does indeed do you good at the end." I patted his back with my free hand.

"Thank you, Luna. I would've never accomplished this without all the intense training of yours. So, thank you once again."

I nodded my head at him before turning to the silent crowd, "Training is over. Thank you all for joining us today for round of intense training."

Everyone quickly dispersed inside the pack house. Some had even congratulated Eden on his achievement.

Liam and I were the last one's left outside. The sun had already set an hour ago. I didn't even realize this what with all the training with Eden.
