We have been training as much as we can. We had even dropped the competition thing and joined the two groups.
In the morning, we had a pack meeting. I had to tell everyone of the vision I had seen. The members had an outrage about it. They wanted more warriors, and so they got it. I was surprised when there were twenty or so more members joining the training, age ranging from the youngest member at thirteen to the fittest eldest at seventy. Liam was proud of the fact that they are as willing to protect their pack as we all are.
The full moon is near, and so is the new moon. I have been watching Trinity for a while, and so was everyone else. And so far, nothing out of the ordinary.
I am more worried about what the Dark Fae's are going to do with Trinity. Is she their secret weapon? If so, why her? I don't want to sound rude but she is just an ordinary wolf. She is just like any other wolves in our pack, but why her?
A whistle blew from beside me, jarring me back to the task at hand.
Liam glanced at me worriedly before dismissing everyone for break.
"Hey," Liam said, walking over to me, "everything will be all right. What ever happens, happens. We will do whatever we can to win this war. And Trinity is safe, we have four watchmen looking out for her. Forget about your stress." He took my shoulders and started messaging me gently. I closed my eyes, letting out a deep breath along with my tensions. "I think some one needs a nap. Come on." I think so too. He took my hand and led me upstairs to our room. He laid me down gently and began brushing away the strands of hair on my face.
"Rest for now," he softly spoke. "I will take care of the training today. I will see you when you awake, that is, if you awake," he joked.
I rolled my eyes, gently pushing his shoulders. "Whatever. Thanks for this. I really do need a nap."
He kissed my forehead, "it's no trouble at all. Now, sleep." He left a lingering kiss on my lips before he left.
I closed my eyes and let the darkness consume me.
War. It's happening. I can see Rai and Jesse fighting back to back. Sil and Kelter deflecting off the Fae's. Rebecca and Tyler in their wolf form, surrounded by four Dark Fae's. I can see splatters of blood on the battlefield. Dead bodies of wolves, humans, and Dark Fae's were everywhere. But the most shocking was the dead bodies of the Light Fae's. We were allies in this war.
Far off in the corner was Liam, wrestling one of the biggest Dark Fae's.
And me? I was in a face off with Trinity.
She looked unnaturally pale with her blood shot eyes and her bared, razor sharp teeth. Her wings were black, crooked and bony. She had long, sharp claws that were poised to aim at my chest. Her eyes set to kill me. She looked nothing like the Trinity I know.
Then, with one swipe, her arm swung out. But before her arm contacted with my body, I woke up.
I was panting, drenched with sweat. It was just a dream. Or was that a vision? Please let it not be a vision.
I breathed out a shaky breath, getting rid of the nightmare. I looked at my clock, reading a quarter pass eight. I had slept for five hours. Unbelievable. No one even bothered to wake me up for dinner. Then on cue, my stomach started grumbling, loudly might I add.
I rubbed my face of the sleep and entered the bathroom to wash my face. After drying my face off with a towel, I glanced up at the mirror. Unruly red hair, dull violet eyes, too pale of a skin, and a bony figure.
Wow. I look hideous. I guess the stress of Trinity and the Moons and the upcoming war have taken a toll on me.
I let out a frustrated sigh, taking a comb from the drawers. For the next five minutes, I tamed my hair, applied light make up, and I can't really do anything with my skin for now.
