P.O.V : Liliana

I had laid back down with the intention of catching a couple of hours of sleep before school started but as soon as my eyes shut, another dream began.

This time though I was in the apartment complex. I was standing in the middle of the fifth floors hallway. The same door I had entered not to long ago was in front of me, but this time the hallway looked brand new and the doors were spotless.

I heard a muffled scream and without thinking, bolted through the door. The room was eerily quiet, a small little girl with purple hair stood in the middle of the room as blood was splattered all over the green carpet.

I stumbled backwards in fear and nearly tumbled to the floor. I frantically grabbed the door knob of the front door but it wouldn't budge.

"Save him"

The little girl looked up at me with hazed over eyes and her skin was a sickly pale. "Save Sal"

My fingers trembled as I continued to try prying the front door open as my eyes never left the little girl in front of me. "I don't know who the hell your talking about!"

She began to slowly make her way towards me and I shrieked as I desperately rammed my shoulder into the door. Voices sounded like they were surrounding me but only the little girl was in the room as her eyes never left mine.

"Save him"

"His soul will be devoured"

"Save Sal"

"We need you to save him"

The voices began to get louder and I slumped against the door as my hands covered my ears. The little girl was almost exactly in front of me as I trembled, tears pricked at the edge of my eyes.

"Please stop, I can't help you.. I don't know..who your talking about.." Desperation dripped off my voice and finally the voices stopped. I looked down and the little girl touched me softly.

"Please"

I yanked myself up from the sheets as I breathed heavily.

Oh god, what kind of dream was that?

I looked over at my alarm clock and sighed, I still had about twenty minutes until my alarm would begin to blare. I shut it off and decided to just get ready. I grabbed an outfit and walked into my bathroom. I stared at the mirror and softly touched the dark bags beneath my eyes. A small frown fell on my lips as I let a sigh out. I started the shower and striped out of my sweaty pajamas.

Once I stepped into the shower, I felt relief wash over me as the warm water cascaded down my body. I placed my forehead on the cold tiled wall in front of me and watched as the warm water slowly went down the drain. That last dream had stayed fresh in my mind, it didn't want to budge from my thoughts.

"Sal.." I mumbled out. Maybe I was just overthinking this? I mean it was just a dream. I don't think I know any Sal's?

I sighed and began to clean myself. Once done, I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my chest. I walked over to the mirror and smudged my hand over the glass, so the steam would disappear and I could see my reflection. As I did it, I saw a tuft of purple behind me. I frantically spun around and griped the sink tightly. When I turned around, there was nothing but the toilet behind me.

I scowled at myself and let a hand rub down my face. I need to eventually get some sleep, so I don't keep seeing things.

I slipped into some faded skinny jeans and a black V-neck. I brushed my teeth and then began to brush out my light brunette hair. It went past my shoulders and as I felt the wet strands, rest heavily against my upper back, irritation began to rise. Quickly I put it up into a messy bun and scowled as my upper shirt was soaked.
