Arriving at Chaldea was not as easy as it sounds like. Once her feet touch the pathway, Maiya was hit with a feeling of nausea, causing her to almost collapsed had not for her foster father/ancestor, Lancelot catches her. Seeing his master/daughter/descendant's condition, the silver-hair saber carried her to the infirmary that his brother-in-arm, Tristan had found before head.
Sure Maiya was powerful. But a sudden quick changes in the environment like this could make the young magus knight fell sick quickly if not careful. That's why the Count Magicians told them to look for the sick bay once they arrived here. It was a fortunate thing that his daughter was the ability shared called as one for all mage craft. Giving both him and Tristan the access on the arsenal of abilities that they class couldn't provide to be used during a battle or emergency like this.
Entering the sick bay, the Knight of the Lake found that it was empty, devoid from patients. Tucking their unconscious master on one of the bad, the British Saber settled down on a nearby chair before his silver eyes met the crystal blue eyes of the cyan-hair archer who'd just coming out from a room with a glass of water, probably for Maiya when she woke up.
Tristan placed the glass onto one of the nightstand before settled on the bed. His fingers gently caressing the younger's cheek in an affectionate motion. A rare gesture shown by the archer causes Lancelot who saw this smiled softly since, of all his life time, Tristan never shown such attachment to anyone other than his family like he did with Lancelot's adopted daughter, the young woman he and the other saw as their niece. The archer didn't even deny that he too, was attached to her despite the short time they met.
"She's a beautiful young one, isn't she, Sir Tristan?" the silver saber stated as his hand gently took a strand of those luscious silver silk like his own, feeling it between his fingers. They only had a limited amount of time to create a bond before arriving here. Yet despite that, he could feel the warmth from the link that they had established, the same warmth he felt when he was with his king, Arthur and his family.
Then again, Maiya was his great, great, great, great granddaughter and somehow, she began to called him 'father', much to Lancelot surprised. The knight however, didn't mind at all since they were blood-related. Within that short time, his maternal instinct remerged and he began to saw her as his child, as well as Arthur and Lin Ling's adopted daughter as they began to see her as their own. Gancelot, Mordred and Alfred was more than happy to had her as their sister.
The female master, his descendent/adopted daughter was almost alike with their king in a certain way, wanting to protect their people and treated everyone as an equal. Maybe it was because of that he felt the argue need to protect and aid his descendant on her quest to protect humanity future. But then again, both of them were connected by blood, and he has every right to treat her like his daughter and family.
Tristan shifted his crystal blue gaze towards his comrade without stopping his hand from caressing Maiya's hair. When the archer's eyes lay upon Lancelot's appearance, he too smiled as he saw the beaming look adorning the Knight of the Lake's expression. He saw pride and love there, emotions that was equal to one a father, which Lancelot was, would have had upon looking at his child.
"Yes... indeed she is. Sir Lancelot. I've never thought that your descendant would be this lovely. Though I had to say I was surprised to find out that she was also a descendant of our king as well. Everyone was very interested to find out how she'll turn out to be." the Archer said softly as he didn't want to wake her up. To say the least, he... no, all of them had grown protective of their new master.
Said silver-haired knight raised his eyebrow slightly in query. Tristan had never been the type of someone to openly praised someone else. Especially when the master was of Lancelot's and their king's descendent. All of them regarded each other as rivals, having a healthy rivalry in the round table.
