After the resting and story-telling sessions, the two party now made their way to the heart of the city where the Greater Grail located as soon as Maiya's scouts returned. Ever since Maiya had revealed their side of family history, the Chaldean decided not to touch any more sensitive issue when Arthur returns to joined them, saying that it was his responsibility to stop his counterpart from continuing her deeds.

Asides from that, Maiya had surprised them, more to surprising Cu Chulainn, by pulling out a familiar red spear out of a red portal. He was more surprise to see that the spear was accepting the magus, responding to her like how it has to him as she began twirled and manipulate it around her body before she handed the weapon to him. As soon as it was in his hand, the spear hums happily as if it recognized its previous owner.

Seeing this, Maiya took the time, with Merlin help to teaches the Irishman on how to gained benefits through his bond with Maiya, which was again, surprised Chulainn with her arsenal of skills and makes him thinks that she was a reincarnated servant.

Arriving at the location, they were greeted by Percival who emerged from his hiding after watching over the place. After a short chat with his king and their master, the assassin then leads them towards a cave which amazed the Chaldean with the structure, mostly Mash though... Olga Maria explained that the cavern was part manmade, and seems to be a workshop of a mage before everything happened.

Just as they were about to enter, Fou suddenly hissed at the present behind them. This alerts everyone in the party that they weren't alone in the area. The Arthurian king already unsheathed his sword, a Nivea version of Excalibur before falling into a defensive position next to his master.

Maiya had also changes her cloths to those of an archer, consist of grey light-weight uniform with crimson lining and blue overcoat. It had far lesser plates to protect her asides from her vital organs. But only a fool would think that she was vulnerable, since she was clearly protected by invincible barrier. Her bow was blood red, shaped almost like four red wings connected together to formed it with cluster of different coloured arrows in a porch tied to her waist for easy access. She already notched a red one on her bow, all that's left was for her to aim and fires it.

"Well, speak of the devil. The disciple is here," the Hound of Ulster casually remarked. Sure enough, the archer of the current grail war, EMIYA was a few meter away from them. He was almost similar to his half Italian counterpart from her world. Tall masculine build and spikey hair. The only difference was this version has fully white hair and steel-grey eyes while Eugene di Vongola hair was blond with sunset gold eyes.

"Are you protecting the wielder of the holy sword like usual?" Chulainn asked in a sarcastic manner. The party with him wisely kept their silence, though their eyes watching the corrupted archer like a hawk.

"I have no memory of becoming a disciple. But I can at least do the work of chasing off mundane visitors," the bowman replied in a monotone like manner, which causes the Irish caster to snorted at the answer. "In other word you are the gatekeeper," he said, slightly amused. "I don't know what you're protecting Saber from, but let's end this here," Chulainn continued, raising his hand to readied himself to cast a rune. Next to him, his temporary master also aimed her winged-bow towards the corrupted archer while the King of Knight readied himself to deflected any attack.

The said individual scoffed as a black bow and a sword appeared in his hands, before notching it onto his bow. "Sorry, but I don't have that kind of..." EMIYA said as he takes aim, the sword on his notch changes its form. "...free time!" saying as he let the arrow soar, aiming for Fujimaru since he knew the boy was clearly far weaker than the female master.

Mash quickly move to covered him. But before the twisted arrow hits, Chulainn waved a flame ruin, and chatted "Eihwaz!" erasing the arrow in a flaming strands before a swirling red arrow took its place from the opposite side, soaring towards the archer who managed to avoid it. But the impact of that single arrow was devastated, leaving a large crater in the place where the enemy bowman once stood. Had he not move, the letter would sure be wounded if not a goner.

Before the archer could put another distance from the danger, EMIYA found himself surrounded by countless levitating and different size of swords and spears. Each of them were noble phantasm and was aiming for his vital points. Knowing that he couldn't make a move without triggering them, the white hair man directed his gaze towards the source that control the weapon, the blue archer/master.

EMIYA's mind telling him that she was more dangerous than the rest of them. No, much dangerous than Alaya. Strangest thing was, he could feel Alaya fear of the woman, as if she could easily have destroyed the will of humanity if she wanted to through their connection. Somehow, he felt hope, as if the woman could free him from Alaya if the will of humanity feared her. He watched as the magus spoken with the Irish caster, already noting that only she, her saber and temporary caster left at the entrance.

A few moments later, they seem to have reached a conclusion since the female master used a signal to retract the weapons around him, before turned around and entered the cave with the male saber to follow the other's track. But not without kissing the caster on his cheek, causing her male saber to frown a bit yet didn't say anything.

"Surprise wasn't it? My temporary master is a very interesting one if you tell me," Chulainn said as he watches her disappear with Arthur into the darkness of the cavern, his hand touching the cheek where she'd kissed him. The Irish man then turns to face his rival, who looked at him with an expressionless feature.

Yet unlike before when he'd faced the archer as a lancer, this time Chulainn could see the familiar twinkle in the man eyes despite it was briefly before disappeared. A shine that he always saw in those who had lost their path before, and finds salvation that someone gave to them.

Strangely, that wasn't there before though... Yes, it appeared after the archer lay his gaze onto his master as if the woman was a saver. Something about his past must had made him this way, and Chulainn intended to find it out one way or another.
