Mash was having trouble fighting the servant in front of her. The lancer class servant had surrounded her and her master, Ritsuka Fujimaru together with the director, Olga Maria with chains and she can't afford herself to make a mistake. But being a newly created servant, she was far weaker than those before her.
The female lancer was about to launched her attack when a volley of black and red arrows came shooting from the sides. The sharp projectiles cause the gorgon to pulled back before turning her attention to her new enemy the same time as the Chaldea party turned their attention to their saviours.
There, on the road next to the bank stood four figures, three man and a woman. Just by looking at the weapon each males and how they dressed, they knew the three knights were servants while the woman was their master. "Are you guys alright? My name's Mizuo Maiya. Romani asked me to come here to help you with the singularity," she called out to them.
Hearing the familiar name from her, the Chaldean party couldn't help but feel relief. But Olga Maria wasn't satisfied with her brief explanation, she wanted to demand more when the lancer suddenly throw her scythe at the newest threat, only to be repelled by a shield much like Mash's own, causing it to rocketing back towards its owner. There, in front of Maiya stood another knight holding the guard on his left while a silver sword on his right hand.
"Explanation comes later, girl. We need to put her out of her misery first," the female master said. Seeing the situation was not on her favour, Olga nodded, keeping her mouth shut. Maiya changes her attention to the battlefield before giving out her orders, "Lancelot, Gawain, you two take the frontline. Galahad, ready to defend them from lancer attack, the wound causes by that scythe is unhealable unless you destroy it. Tristan and I will provide support should you need them. She's a gorgon so don't look into her eyes directly."
Upon hearing their master's command, the second party sprit up. The two servants of the swords launch a barrel of attacks at the lancer, who managed to deterred some of it while others sliced through. The servant of mount used his shield to protect the two sabers from the lancer's counter attack. The servant of bow and their master took the high ground, launching their own attack in the form of runes, spells and arrows to support the frontline.
The battle was one side with the lancer being overwhelm by five fighters. Still, the gorgon managed to hold her ground against them. On the side line, Fujimaru, Mash and Olga couldn't help but watched in awe as Maiya and her four servants fought. The other master was displaying the same power and strength as any high servant, a feat only wizard marshals could.
Suddenly, a black spear ripped through the lancer's chest from behind her, causing the tainted servant to cough out blood and groan in pain. Her pained eyes turn to see a mop of raven with red tipped tresses before meeting with mismatched dragon eyes male. Her mouth opened in a silent question, which was answered by a smooth voice belong to the male Lancer. "My master concealed my present. You have done well to fulfil your duty. It's time for you to rest, fellow lancer..."
Hearing that, the female lancer gave a soft sigh of resignation as her mouth curved into a small smile. Her body slowly disappeared into golden particle before completely disappeared from their sight. As she did, the second party watches in silence respect while Maiya kneel down to pray for the fallen warrior. Had she wasn't being effected by the darkness, the lancer could make a good ally. But fate went against her and turned her into the embodiment of darkness.
Few minutes later, Maiya stood before turning her attention towards her servant knights, who was surrounding her in a protective circle. They weren't facing her though. Instead, they were facing the other team in front of them. It was evidence that Lancelot and his fellow knights could sense the hostility, especially from a certain albino woman.
"Lancelot, Gawain. Can you let me face them? They won't harm me, right?" Maiya directed the question to Fujimaru, who was the least to snapped at them. The male master was startled upon the sudden address and warily look at the now five knights surrounding her. From the name, they were sure that the four knights were from the Arthurian era, that's means the newly arrived lancer as well.
"We'll let you approach them, Master. But should that girl demand or yelled for some explanations in an inappropriate way, none of us going to guaranty her life or safety..." replied another knight, Agravain materialize next to his younger brother, Gawain. His purple eyes narrowed as he looks at the said woman.
Right after Agravain, Gareth, Gahelis, Key, Palamedes, Mordred, Bors, Lamorak, and Bedivere materialize themselves behind the group, making it more intimidating with the high amount of killing intent spilling out of every one of them.
The tension emitted by the group causes the servant of the shield from the opposite group to react, ready to defend her master should she needed. But facing thirteen knights of the round, especially when all of them were servants was a dangerous gamble. The master wasn't easy to beat since her performance just now shows that she was on the same level as a high caster, which means she wouldn't go down without a fight.
Feeling the tension in the air, Fujimaru let out a nervous laughter, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head as he looked at the other master surrounded by multiples of knights, and the director who was fuming in rage. He knows that was the truth though. Had not for he was being a novice in this kind of thing, he also would have snapped at the director.
Seeing the knights were reluctance to let their master approached them, Fujimaru tried to negotiate with them despite being nervous with Maiya's help. In the end, the ones directly in front of her who she called Lancelot and Gawain moved aside, earning a smile and a grateful thanks from their master as she walk between them.
Time skipped...
To say that they were surprised to know that she come from a different timeline and was send here to help humanity with it's plight was understanding. Well, for Romani, Mash, and Olga that is. She told them that her teacher had send her here to help Chaldea to regained humanity its future and explained on how she come in contract with her servants.
Olga Maria tried to force the female master under her leadership, in which Maiya straight forwardly refuses. This causes the director to threw up tantrums until something she said causes Maiya to snapped. Within seconds, countless small golden portal ripped through the air and they could saw multiple types of swords, axes and spear tips emerges, all directing towards the Chaldean Director.
"You made a mistake there, lassie. I would want to save you but you already put yourself in a bad position," the knight name Bors said. "One thing you had to know about our master is she detest people who view others as object or weapons, and it raise tenfold if the one that was addressed were spirits and servant," Percival, the black and red head said as he lazily twirled his short blade. The assassin knight looks very irritate, and not just him alone. All of them were.
"You! A mare youngling tried to force someone older... furthermore an outsider under your sorry excuse of a leadership!? Child, better repair your attitude and earn other's respect instead of forcing them in!?" Maiya yelled. "Wha..." Olga was about to retort. Suddenly, the blades in the air suddenly shimmering red, reflecting their master emotions. A short blade suddenly shoots out from one of the golden portal and flew passed the younger's cheek, scratching it and cut a few stands of her hair.
"Dare to retort back and I'll make sure the next blade hits," Maiya said, menace filled her voice as she directing those words to the young director. Seeing the fear in her eyes, the older master sigh, "Fix your personality and only then you would make an appropriate leader for your members, your army. With these attitudes of yours, you will only be betrayed by your men. And don't order me or my men around." her gaze soften a bit as she advised Olga, gently ruffing the younger woman's silver tresses like an older sibling would.
Despite surprise by the quick changes of mood, the Chaldean party decided not to say anything about it other than to be grateful that she didn't down right kill them on the spot. Meanwhile, the director was quite, already intimidated by the seer strength, power and charisma that was radiated by the female master. It was like, they were facing a high rank servant. No... Maiya herself told them that she was trained and tutored by the grand marshal, that alone would explain the power she has.
