Holly's POV
June 25, 1975
"Lils, I'm staying at Potter Manor. Are you coming with me?" I asked as I packed up my bags. I couldn't stay at home much longer. I mean with Mum, Dad and Petunia calling Me and Lily as a disgrace to our family, I couldn't hold it much longer. I sent a letter to all the Marauders and they all agreed to stay at the Potter Manor a week before our trip back to Hogwarts.
"Nah, they wouldn't like me to be around, you're much more fun to fool around with, Hol," Lily shrugged.
"James asked you to come around," I said, rolling my clothes into my neat and organized trunk.
"You know I couldn't stand him, right, Hol?" She shrugged.
"Well, okay then. Just owl us if you made a last-minute decision about it." I said as I finished packing up and dragged my trunks downstairs.
"Holly, where are you going?" Mum asked.
"I am going to the place which your concern was not needed, Mother," I snarled at her.
"Shut it, Holly Primrose Evans," Dad came and shouted at me.
"Oh, here you are, Father. I am going to spend my last days of summer at Potter Manor, together with my best friends," I said as I took my sneakers and walked outside the door.
I dragged my trunk to the knight bus which took me right in front of Potter Manor. Remus was waiting for me outside the door. I ran to him and left my trunk by the porch, James came to fetch it later on.
"So, how was summer?" Remus asked as he hugged me.
"Dreadful. Mum dissed Lily and me for being able to perform magic," I said as I hugged him back.
"You're home, now," Remus said as he leads me into the house to meet James' parents, Fleamont and Euphemia Potter.
"Mum, Dad, Holly is here," James shouted from the front door, dragging my trunk.
"Is this the Holly Remus and James had been talking about all summer?" a lady in her mid 40's wearing a floral summer dress came down from the stairs.
"Hello, Mrs Potter, I'm Holly," I smiled as she attacked me with a hug. It had been a while since someone hugged me warmly like this.
"Mum is a natural hugger, Hols." James grinned.
"Welcome to the manor, dear," a 40-ish man with round-rimmed glasses, looking exactly alike to James greeted me. Nobody called me with such affectionate address like that.
Tears brimmed down my eyes as I hugged Mrs Potter.
"Easy, sweetheart," Euphemia said as she rubbed circles down my back.
"James, can you fetch some orange juice for Holly?" Mr. Potter said.
"Coming right up, Dads," James said.
"Her parents hated her and her sister for being a witch," Sirius said as he explained what made me cry so hard.
"Oh, honey. Don't worry. You can always come home in this manner. Sirius, Remus, and Peter always spend their summer here, consider this, us, your home," she said and held my hand in hers.
"I'll take the luggage upstairs, You can catch up with Remus, Hols," Sirius said.
"Thanks, Ori." I nodded as I wiped my tears.
"Since when you called Sirius with his middle name?" James pouted.
"Last year?" I shrugged.
"I'll take her out to the backyard for some fresh air, Mrs Potter," Remus said as he held my hand and took me to the backyard.
"I'll prepare dinner for all for you." Mrs Potter smiled as she walked to the kitchen.

At the backyard,
Remus asked me to sit beside him on the patio but I decided to lie down and put my head on his lap. He caressed my hair gently and smiled at me.
"They had been so hard on you, Prim," He said as he saw a huge bruise on my left jaw. My dad had just beaten me last night. And for the record, the only one who called me by my middle name is Remus John Lupin.
"It's okay. As long as there is someone who wanted me more than mum and dad, I'll survive," I said as I held his hand. Remus and I were closer than anybody else in the team.
Well, you can say that since we spent the most time together at the library to study aside from pulling huge pranks to the whole school. Remus called me by my middle name because he told me that Primrose means youthful and I embodied that better than anybody else and He liked calling me 'Prim', meanwhile, I liked calling him 'Johnnie'.
"Johnnie, thank you," I said looking up to him.
"For what?" He asked.
"For accepting me the way I am. I never felt accepted as what I really am in my family. Petunia called me a freak, dad called me a disgrace, mum called me a disgrace and imbecile. It was only here I could hear a mother calling me every sort of sweet nicknames." I said as I tried twisting my gaze to the side, hiding my tears.
"You are none of those, McGonagall, Dumbledore, Professor Sprout, and even Madam Pomfrey always sees you as one of the brightest students. not to mention about the Patronus you could produce last year." He said as he rubs my shoulder.
I was quiet, I was crying.
He then sat me down and squatted in front of me. "You've been strong enough all these years and I'm proud of you, Prim," Remus said and hugged me.
I hugged him and cried in his embrace for a good ten minutes before we moved upstairs to James' new room. which exactly is much bigger than the last time I went there.
"Blimey, James. you got this to yourself?" I asked.
"It's for the Marauders. Mum and dad made this place for all of us to crash in, big enough for 6 people. If only you could bring Lily here, Hols," He shrugged.
"I'm afraid, Lily is still mad at you about the prank at Divination class last year." I shrugged as I set myself on the couch.
