Holly's POV
I chugged down my pumpkin juice and munched on my toast. It was our first class teaching together. I mean I got to teach Harry's class. I couldn't be more than happy. But the lesson is about boggarts. the shapeshifting creature that took shape of our biggest fear. the last time I tried facing a boggart, It turned into a dying Remus before my eyes, and that last time I tried to cast 'Ridikkulus', I failed miserably and ended up storming out of the classroom and burst into a crying spree.
"You don't have to demonstrate if you are wary of it," He said as he gave me a warm back hug.
"How do you know what I thought?" I asked as I leaned back onto his chest.
"I can always connect to you. I mean it's not like we have to do Legilimancy on each other to be able to listen to our worries, love," He grinned.
"They're coming," I said as I heard footsteps coming and I can smell James' musky scents and Lily's floral and grassy scents.
"Why can I smell James' and Lily's scent?" I asked as I looked curiously to Remus.
"Because James and Lily are inheriting most of their traits to the twins," Remus grinned as he nodded to Harry and Cassie who walked into the class along with all his classmates.
"Professor, are you two..." Harry said as he pointed on Remus' hands which were still around my waist.
"I know it, brother."
"Well, the answer to your question is for later to be answered, Mr Potter," Remus asked as he walked around the class, leaving me on the other side of the classroom. "Intriguing, isn't it?" He walked around the students, studying all of them one by one.
"Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what is inside?" I asked as I walked to the other side of the classroom.
"That's a boggart, that is." A dark-skinned boy standing in the front row said confidently. From his tie, I know right he was a Gryffindor.
"Very good, Mr Thomas," Remus said and nodded his head thoughtfully.
"Five points to Gryffindor for your accuracy, Mr Thomas," I nodded and smiled. I mean this kid might have done the readings in advance even if he didn't look like he's someone who reads a lot.
"Now, can anybody tell me what a boggart looks like?" Remus asked.
"No one knows." A girl popped beside me. I noticed she was one of Harry's best friends. There was a time turner dangling on her neck but I decided not to talk about it.
"When did she get here?" The ginger boy nudged Harry.
"Be quiet, Ronald," I shushed the boy. he looked at me as if he didn't expect me to know his first name. I knew he's a Weasley from his hair. plus I helped taking care of his brothers before the first wizarding war erupted.
"Boggarts are shape-shifters. They take the shape of whatever a person fears the most. That's what makes them so..." Hermione paused for a bit, trying to find a word that fits to describe the boggart.
"So terrifying," I said in return.
"yes, yes, yes... Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a boggart. Let's practice it now. Without wands, please. After me. Riddikulus!" Remus said as he stood in front of the class.
"Riddikulus!" The kids repeated.
"Very good. A little louder and very clear. Listen Riddikulus!" Remus said as he said it a little bit louder.
"Riddikulus!" The class repeated after him. not the entire class though. I spotted three Slytherins speaking at the very back of the class. and I noticed one of them looked really alike to Lucius Malfoy.
