Holly's POV

as soon as we reached Hogwarts and we were done with the feast, I ran to the library and looked for any books about animagus. I did all the research in advance because James, Petey, and Sirius were just being themselves and they wouldn't stop pulling small pranks on fellow dorm mates. 

"Holly, why are you studying about animagus? it was an illegal thing to be an animagus for kids like us," Lily whispered.

"It's for Remus, Lily," I looked down to the book.

"You liked him don't you?" Lily asked.

"We snogged last summer," I blushed.

"You what?" Lily asked.

"It was an action to stop my hiccups. but it feels more than that," I shrugged as I continued reading and taking notes on the subject.

"That's why he never left you all day. In the train, at the feast, even he wanted to tail you here," Lily chuckled.

"I don't know about my feelings yet, Lils. I just wanted to help him through his pains. I mean I learned also that Werewolf doesn't hurt an animal as it would do to a human." I explained. "Being an animagus would do so much to keep him company, lil," I said as I am done with the note copying for the day. 

"I'll take the advanced class for transfiguration this year." I grinned.

"So will I," Lily said as we both walked out of the library just to find out Frank Longbottom and Alice Prewett eating each other's face.

"Busted," I grinned playfully as I nudged Lily's arm.

"Frank finally got the balls," she said.

"Speaking of which, don't tell Marlene about these. but Sirius is into her. He talked about Marlene half of the time I stayed there." I said.

"Well, that's new. He used to pull pranks on Marlene," Lily said.

"Well, He only did it just to hide his feelings toward her, Lils. you know James and Sirius were all alike. They tease people they liked to mask their feelings towards them." I hugged the thick books I borrowed from the library.

"Unlike someone, in particular, huh," Lily teased me.

"Huh? Who?" I asked.

"Oh, Holly. I'm not as foolish as those two marauders, you know," Lily grinned playfully. "I know you have feelings for Remus and That you are trying to be animagus to help him because you don't want him to feel lonely and unloved," Lily smiled.

"Animagus is James' Idea. and I am the brain of the group so they leave me with those theoretical instructions," I shrugged.

"But you agreed anyways. and I know you and Remus had been in a 'More than friends but lesser than lover' for two years up until now." Lily said. "Speaking of the devil," She nodded to the direction where Remus was running towards me.

"Primrose, I've been looking for you," He said as he towered against me.

"So, if it wasn't the cue for me to leave and go to the common room," Lily said, hugging her books, leaving Remus and me.

"What happened, Johnnie. you looked so flustered," I asked. his face was filled with worried.

"Uh, you were beside me back at the great hall. then you were missing, I couldn't find you anywhere else," he explained.

"I was at the library with Lily. we were studying for our OWLs a little early. I didn't want to suck on this," I explained.

"'Fantastic Beast and Where to Find It' and 'An Introduction to Animagi' interesting choices for a light reading," Remus said, reading the titles of the books in my arms.
