You heard faint yet light taps against the surface, and it continued until the annoying noise forced you awake. Your eyelids eventually parted, and your senses seemed to have returned. However, your throat was too parched and dry for comfort, and so you scanned the room in search of a drink.

Wait, where were you anyway?

In the instinct to move, you did so, only to realize your left arm and right leg were constricted by chains. Serious Deja-Vu had hit you, and your heart began to pound. Your ankle wasn't tightly wrapped at all, and to your sense; it was a sign.

"I.Iz..u.."

The tapping had abruptly stopped, causing your peer. Your gaze shifted toward the desks, where you noticed a familiar figure sitting there more bored than ecstatic. But once he eyed you leisurely, he sat up with an eager smile. "Ah, glad you're awake [Y/N]!"

You recognized the boy and curled your eyebrows. "W..ha-" Your throat burned, and was intensely sore. The male with dim green eyes stood up from his seat and approached. "Don't push yourself, the ether combined with soup isn't the best duo." Sweat dripped from your brow, and the other immediately noticed. Midoriya turned his attention to a indigo-blue bucket, well prepared for this moment.

"It seems you're hot. I tried to turn down the air, but I think the A.C. is broken." His hand delve into the bucket, and reached into the cold liquid for a rag. You watched him, this entire ordeal feeling strange to you.

Midoriya squeezed and twisted the rag, allowing the water to drip into where it once were, creating dripples while he did so. He hummed a slow and cold tune, making you feel way too tense.

Your freed right hand reached to touch your throat, bewildered by the fact that you lost your voice. Midoriya turned toward youand gently took your left hand, carefully stroking your arm with the rag to cool your body temperature. He then lifted the rag and curved the edges, your body stiffening as he wiped the sweat from your brow, soon enough your entire your face.

You wondered why you were like this and what had happened while you were asleep for hours. The boy with green eyes leaned away, his smile fading. "Hey [Y/N].. You remember when I killed Toga, right?"

A nod was your only short respond for him to proceed. "Well, since she's... y'know, dead... I've been banned from Shiguraki's group for being a traitor. You may be wondering why I'm telling you all of this, but I thought I'd just let you know. You're important to me."

His head then perked up. "Hey! You think they'd let me back into UA? I bet everyone misses us!" Midoriya looked so happy while mentioning the prestigious school he once attended, however you needed him to get a taste of reality, and so you shook your head.

There's no way they'd let Midoriya back into there.

Hell, they don't even know that he escaped from confinement.

A frown tugged against Midoriya's lips, and his head lowered. Your eyes followed him, and those glistening pearls of yours saddened.

"Do.. y..ou... regr..et?"

You choked out. Midoriya stiffened, and pulled down on his green locks. "Well.. I.. can't say that I don't miss the people I've killed. I've been... thinking about it a lot actually.." His tone drifted and he slouched so he could conceal his face.

Your eyes narrowed, the flexible mind you once knew now in a slur like you were drugged. Slowly, you reached for his locks, until he shot up with the most amused expression that's ever become glued to his face. The boy broke down into laughter, your feelings immediately faded, and dropped down into your stomach. "Silly, of course I don't regret it! I killed Kaminari because he clearly had interest in you, and then Kacchan, because he loved you."
