OVA (2) Bakugou's Perspective.

'I don't remember where it all exactly started...'

'But I noticed Deku following [Y/N] around most of the time. Even back at Junior High.'

Bakugou grunted as he lifted his legs over the desk in front of him, deceived by his own ego in having him convince himself that he was the biggest and baddest wolf. However, that was the only because he fitted in such a such a small school; Aldera Junior High.

His eyes remained closed while his arns folded behind his head as if it were a cushion, listening to his friends shower him with aimless compliments.

As his eyes opened, he peered off to the side, noticing you approaching the building with your hands strapped around your bag. He thought it was just a casual day, however he could notice someone else walking behind you, maintaining his distance;

Izuku Midoriya.

'At first, I thought it was annoying, but as time went on, I started to realize how intense it's gotten.'

Bakugou watched as you sat beside him from the corner of his eye. He didn't say anything only because he was focusing on the UA High Exam Orientation, but there were certain moments in time where he wanted to broach a conversation.

With his gaze flicked onto your card, he noticed you both were placed in separate battle centers, and was about to ask you a question, up until Midoriya approached.

"[L/N]... mind... mind if I sit here?"

"No! Go ahead, I don't mind."

Bakugou twitched an eyebrow, returning his focus up ahead.

'I knew Deku has always been clingy, but he's always clung to [Y/N], no matter what. For some reason... I neglected the thought that he might've been crazy, and acted all oblivious.'

'But I started to see who he really was.'

'And he doesn't even cut close to the Deku I used to know.'

As Bakugou and Kirishima stood in the lunch line, he kept their conversations terse, pushing the redhead away. But he kept coming back, until eventually; he learned that pushing him away only makes him come back stronger.

He took his eyes off of Kirishima for one moment and glanced off to the side, looking directly towards you and Midoriya. His eyelids lowered.

His skeptic gaze continued. And after the two grabbed their lunches, Kirishima suggested that they'd go and sit down near the group you sat in. Decidedly, Bakugou would make his way through the cafeteria, eventually sitting in the booth opposite from you, your backs facing one another.

He lifted up his burger, listening to Kirishima and his other buddies, but at the same time; listened to the group conversation between you, Mineta, Kaminari, Midoriya, Jiro, Iida, and Uraraka.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. He didn't really care about Denki asking you out on a date, however it was only a matter of time before his feelings toward you became vague.
