Todoroki managed to latch on small rocks of ice on Midoriya, hoping that the weight would slow his movements. But with One For All in the mix, he simply broke it off. He continued to attack Todoroki, his adrenaline rendering his arm numb to soreness. Todoroki was losing too much blood, he quickly realized this and clenched his teeth in remark.

'I barely put a scratch on him,' He thought, 'Damn it. Where's Kyota...?' The flames consuming his left side were remained unnoticed as they died out, it was only a matter of time before you and Midoriya noticed.

Green eyes glared in dismay, as he breathed shallow breaths, contemplative about his next move. He stopped to regain his grounds, as well as his stamina.

"₮ØĐØⱤØ₭ł...."

He growled in ruthlessness, his pupils indulged in never-ending insanity. As he took a step forward, the blade in his hands switched angles. He surprisingly caused Todoroki to step back, maintaining the distance between them.

After minutes of recollecting himself, Todoroki glanced towards you, who began to cough rather violently in the midst of the battle. He realized the smoke which laid heavy around you, and decided to speak. "[L/N]! Keep my scarf around your mouth, I'll take you away after I take care of him!"

Hearing his calls nearly threw you off your guard, but you composed yourself right before eagerly nodding. It made you smile knowing that he was concerned about the flame's intoxicating smoke consuming your lungs. But it stirred brutality within Midoriya.

"₴ⱧɄ₮ Ʉ₱! ĐØ₦'₮ ₮₳Ⱡ₭ ₮Ø ⱧɆⱤ!"

There was a brief interlude by silence, as both you and Todoroki grew quiet by his demand, despite the fact that he wasn't speaking to you. Your hand firmly pressed warm scarf against your nose and mouth, the atmosphere thickening by the anticipation. You scanned Midoriya's expression, and he was truly losing control. While Todoroki on the other hand; proceeded to alter his plans. He looked distracted, nonetheless; uncomfortable.

The tables were being turned against him.

Or maybe, he's always been backed into a corner.

He shouldn't have gotten involved with you, he should've stayed away and figured that you've probably transferred schools. He shouldn't have snuck around in someone else's business.

But of course his ambitions of becoming the number one hero stood in his way.

It led him on.

"Midoriya... What happened to your friendship with All Might? You two had a strong bond!" The boy shouted, aspiring something within his adversary which eventually caused him to stand still. Midoriya's legs trembled uncontrollably as he tried his very best to muster a single joint to move, it was safe to say he became hesitant. "You were going to surpass him! Become the hero he wants you to be!"

The male's heart ached in agony, and his head lowered. The blade in his hands lowered, his grip also loosening around the knife. The blood lust within him steadied, almost causing you to sigh in relief. However, the time you've spent with Midoriya made you realize more things about him;
