Kim's POV

'Coffee, coffee, coffee' I said to myself as I practically sprinted down the stairs the next morning

"Ahhh" I sighed leaning my head back as I took a sip out of the steaming brew. Satisfying my quench. I glanced over at the digital clock available on the microwave reading 9:16am I had class at 10:30am giving me some time to myself. I walked into the front room grabbing the little blanket available on the sofa and saw myself out into the back garden; the morning breeze hit my exposed legs instantly sending chills down my spine. I wrapped the warm quilt around me as I sat on the garden patio my mug wrapped around my fingers burning my skin at the heat being externally given against the mug

I sat there thinking about last night, how Cheryl was outside of my bedroom knocking until the early hours trying to get me to open up. I heard Ashley tell her to leave me be; he must have got annoyed with her. I wasn't upset she was kissing Ashley, he's her husband for gods sake. I was upset at the fact she was doing it just to rub it in my face. They never showed affection; why the sudden change? I figured ignoring her last night would somehow teach her a lesson. Who am I to teach her a lesson tho? I took a deep breath inhaling the crisp air enjoy the peace for a little while

"So you're alive then?" I heard her speak from behind me

"Sadly" I said letting it slip out as I paid my attention to my hot drink. I heard her walk over, her footsteps were calm and quiet as she bent down wrapping her arms around my neck from behind giving me sweet kisses against my temple

"Ashley will see" I said trying to take her hands off but she forced them there

"Ashley's been gone since the early hours" she said titling my head back claiming my lips with her own. I have never experienced a kiss like this before, it was different, it was special, it was hers. I let her take some control for once; letting her dominate the kiss. She initiated the kiss so she'll be the one slipping her tongue in first. Her hands roamed to the inside of my top letting them rest on my mounds

"Let us get this cup" she murmured against my lips taking my cuppa from my hand taking a sip out of it before setting it down. She made her way around the chair and took a seat on my lap

"Why didn't you answer your door last night?" she asked wrapping her arms around my neck whilst resting her head against my chest

"Why didn't you follow me into the kitchen yesterday at dinner?" I questioned making her tense up

"I-I didn't see you go in" she lied, I sighed pushing her off me and standing up

"Cheryl.. it's not like we are in some committed relationship, you don't have to sit there and lie to me. Be honest, for once just be honest!" I said getting frustrated

"Fine! I saw the way you was all over her" She said getting snappy with me

"Lower you voice" I said calmly

"Don't tell us what to do!" she shouted standing up walking past me, I quickly grabbed her wrist making her spin around to meet my eyes

"Lower your voice" I said once again never letting go of her wrist. Her shoulders instantly slouched down in defeat.

"I want you to talk to me, tell me what upset you. There's no need to shout at each other. No one will get their point across if there's shouting" I said gently taking her hand sitting us back down in the position we once were. I could instantly feel her relaxing in my lap.

"Now, talk to me" I said running my fingers through her hair wrapping my left arm around her back as she rested her head once again against my chest
